  • Unwatchable due to poor audio quality. Shame.

  • Oh my god, she looked exactly like Jerrie Blank!

  • took her 23 yrs....damn now that's a slow learner

  • marrawanna= heroine or electric chair there are no other alternatives

  • Comment removed

  • @jinnwarior ?? explan??

  • @armondpb

nevermind, it seems to not work anymore.

  • The audio really needs fixed

  • these people terrify me.

  • LOL

  • you, the Jew in the back, I know what you're thinking

    you're thinking not me.

Well I was one tough cookie and I couldn't get away with it

  • I was a boozer, a user, and a loser

  • Great to watch while stoned !

  • hahaha "if you think about smoking marijuana there's something wrong upstairs and you do need a little psychiatric help" that's hilarious

i mean, i think she makes some good points about drug use and stuff, but she obviously doesn't understand marijuana, which is not harmful or addictive anymore than something like chocolate. alcohol is much more dangerous than marijuana. we should teach our kids the realities of drug use, not spread misleading information, to get them to be responsible

  • "Maybe it's time to stop not doing what you pretended you can do and can't, and start doing the thing that you can't do, but can no longer pretend that you can."

  • I kept a straight face... until she extols her 6 friends who never "graduated to heroin"... ...because they were electrocuted! Little Miss Graphic.

  • I would love if the girl who asked all the skeptical questions were interviewed today. I'm curious what she thought of this exaggerated load of crap the ex-drug addict was telling everyone.

  • I watched the whole thing, and I recognize myself. The only thing is that if you haven't been in it, you simply don't get how serious it is. Im going to a treatment facility in about two weeks, just have to stay clean a while before I can move in. I remember how I used to feel about drugs, I tried to make my friend quit, but failed. I was stupid enough to try it myself, and it got out of hand. A word of advise for everyone who's reading this; Don't even try it. It's not worth it, I promise you.

  • "Did you ever get yellow jaundice?"

    "Yellow jaundice? Nnnnnnnn...about 6 times."

  • how ridiculous this seems now in 2009.....

  • I stole the TV. :D

    Did some more time. ):

  • OK earlier (the first segment) she said you gotta drop a dime on your friend if he smokes pot. Then she says jail is not the answer. OK, well...which is it? If you "drop a dime" on your friend, what happens? He will end up going to jail. And, so if jail is not the answer... Oh nevermind.

And she says she was dressing like she was 21? Fake eyelashes? Yikes!

I love it that she is telling kids not to do drugs but she is smoking.

  • "Jail is not the answer."

Keep in mind she was actually a saleperson for Synanon. They wanted judges to order druggies to Synanon instead of jail.

  • she's insane

  • I don't care whether or not she is insane or exaggerating thing's about her past experiences. The main point is that she is trying to convince these kids not to make the same mistake's that she's made. That's what's wrong with kids now aday's,half of them don't know anything and think that they 're smarter then the people that have already traveled down the same road that they themselves are headed.

  • I'm not saying that the majority of those kids are using drug's or planning to,but you can't deny that drug addicted teen's don't exist (Which was very ramped during that era and still is today). Some of you are just focusing on what she's saying, rather than the point in what she is saying, why she is saying it,and who she is saying it to.Who gives a damn if marijuana is non lethal,we all know that already,HELLO she is trying to detur these kids from using marijuana "Because it's a gateway drug".

  • She friggin blew it

  • im hot fer this chick

  • Ah... Produced by Avon Products... cover those track marks with our new line of arm make-up

  • What a stupid bitch

  • Wow! this is awesome! don't get hooked on oregano, or you'll be dancin' in the chair at sing sing...bwahahaha

  • "I did things that I wouldn't force on a mule...and that includes things I forced on a mule!"

  • After this she went back to her old ways. I don't know if she was doing drugs again, but she was in trouble with the law. Google her and read the story.

  • Funny, and sad at the same time. Shame she didn't know just how little she knew going in there and confusing a bunch of kids like that...

The part about the marijuana killers really bugged me. I have trouble believing anyone killed anyone because of marijuana and not because of some mental trauma possibly triggered by the weed.

  • The marijuana killers part is probably untrue: she appears to be making that up as a scathing rejoinder, if you ask me.

  • It's also possible she tried using world history as part of her own history. Just to clarify, I think there is nothing wrong with ingesting the plant on occasion ^.^, but the word "hashish" has a peculiar history: it actually comes from the word "assassin".

    wikipedia(dot)org/wiki/Hashshashin

Keeping in mind that there isn't anything even conclusive evidence to the argument that it did come from people who smoked weed before killing. It could be made up.

  • Note: remove the space in that link

(and yeah I noticed my second paragraph kinda ate itself when I edited my post =P)

  • Nah: what I'm talking about is that there are several times in her monologue where it appears that she is inventing facts for dramatic effec. The 6 MJ killers; the 6 times she got "yellow jaundice" (notice how she sounds like she's going to say "no" then suddenly comes up with "about 6 times"?; the "straight B student" who broke her neck in 6 places after a fall from the 6th floor - convenient # and convenient access to personal details about the girl. I doubt she had any etymological smarts.

  • Oh yes I concur there. It was quite clear she was making up most of it up, overgeneralizing as she went (which she even admitted to at one point). If she was telling the truth she'd be the only person in recorded history that has ever seen anything like it.

  • recorded history is over rated.

  • Mr. Chuck Noblet: [reading a note he confiscated from Jerri] My vagina is on fire. I'm trying not to scratch it, Orlando, I'm afraid it will get infected. ...

  • She is **so** Jerri Blank! I was waiting to hear that she stole a TV?

  • is this suppsoed to be serious? i cant' stop giggling since she exactly remind me of jerri blanks!!!

  • I wonder how long she was actually "living on the street" when she thinks the street term "dropping a dime" means to send a postcard with a 10 cent stamp.

  • Haha

  • Real life Jerri Blank! I wonder if she ever stole the TV? Did some more time?

  • BTW the woman who is speaking was heavily involved with an anti-drug brainwashing cult called Synanon, which was eventually shut down because it got militant and violent.

    Cause knowledge is power!

    -Joe

  • Janice Dickenson, Judge Judy, my grandma...freakin' all these people act like this, wonder why some women act like this, just being loud, and over-confence...strange.

  • I don't understand why everyone thinks what she's saying is crazy. She sounds rational to me.

  • "If you think about smoking marijuana, you need help" That seems a little irrational to me.

  • I thought the girl who said she could probably snitch on 85% of her friends was full of shit. That seems like a pretty high number. But it was hysterical how Florrie went to town with that information. A little too triumphant there.

  • Where do you live? I know 85% of my school did drugs. However, she said 85% of her friends did drugs, i guess that depends on the people she hangs out with.

  • Wow. That chick who called her presumptuous was lucky to get out of there alive. Ol' Florrie didn't like being contradicted when she was getting her factual on.

  • Ever wonder how Judge Judy got that way? That's her mom.

  • everything she tells us is factual

  • I did some horse in the penn and you know what? I was electrocuted before I had a chance to do another stick of dope and I'll tell you something, if you get electrocuted when you're smoking marijuana, I'm not going to lie to you; it feels great, and if you're high and electocuted while shooting a stick of needle, it's even betta!

  • She's going to start a new fad!

  • seriously, die from marijuana??? if that were true, i'd be dead by now...

  • I love how when that girl asks her if she ever had Yellow Jaundice, she answered nnnno, 6 times. It was almost like she was thinking, I better lie and say I had it multiple times so that they don't do needles. Which by the way, what she described sounds more like Hepatitis than Jaundice.

Good for her, it's fun being ignorant. After all, everything she is saying is factual.

  • It was in the 60's. They knew less about health care back then and she was a junkie so I doubt she was seeing a doctor. She probably did have hepatitas bus she thought that it was Jaundace. She wasn't lying but to the best of her knowledge she was being truthfull.

  • God Bless her

listen to her she is 100% correct. some people will be ok. some people like my friend will end up in jail for life. why take a chance? he has been in prison since 1981. he was put in when he was 17. don't say you were not warned.

  • Nobody has ever died from using marijuana. And few people are predisposed to violent crimes while using marijuana.

  • i'm stoned right now... or maybe is was just thyme- but i am paranoid about that electric chair

  • She knew SIX people who committed murder on marijuana and got the chair!?!?!?

  • couldnt they have got a speaker who spoke?

  • Haha, she's not playing devil's advocate at all.

  • I love how the girl in the end asks about "yellow jaundice" and then she says she got it 6 times and explains it as using a dirty needle with alittle bit of blood in it.....LMAO!!!! She talking about HEPATITIS!!! thats an incurable virus LOL gotta love the stupid 60's

  • Jerri Blank even LOOKS like this lady. And sounds like her.

And I love that she's smoking while talking to high school kids. That would NEVER fly now.

By the way, the program "synanon" that got this lady sober was basically a cult, and hasn't stood the test of time.

    From Wikipedia:

Synanon ultimately became the cultish Church of Synanon in the 1970s and the group disbanded permanently in 1989 due to difficulties with the Internal Revenue Service.

  • hhhmmm interesting.

  • this lady's full of shit

  • this is so awsome, i want a copy of the transcript... does anyone know where i could find it?

  • 45 ratings at 5 stars? Wow. Why?

  • I love how she's talking about drug abuse WHILE smoking a cigarette! Reminds me of NA meetings.

  • I love articulate crazy people.

This is great. "Hard drugs? I'll tell you hard drugs! I know someone who smoked pot and KILLED somebody and got EXECUTED! No, wait! I know SIX of 'em!"

And Jerri totally looks like her.

  • OH Ramone.....

  • Oh yea, i remember those days, Stoney and I would go over to Buckle's and Puff would turn us on to a hot load of mescaline crumbled into a tumbler of ether with a float of Percocet jimmies. I'd wake up with blood on my ass, and then we'd get high. Those were some good times. I miss florida.

  • exactly....

  • Oh how I miss those percocet jimmies!

  • Haha, now you make me want to memorize that whole spiel so I can recite it on the fly.

  • "You ARE your brother's keeper!" -- Unless of course you run into old friends on the street that are struggling, because that's apparently when you should run away to the sanctity of your home.

  • AVON produced THIS????

  • No one knows if she's alive. That is a pathetic life if no one is close to you to miss you when you're gone.

  • This video is just propaganda. Pot is psychoacitve, but it doesn't make people crazy like her! In India, where spliff has been smoked for thosands of years, people know using cannabis is less dangerous than tobacco, prescription drugs, and alcohol. Try it! Legalize it!

  • HAHAHAHAHAHAH electrocuted after crimes of PASSION? Wow. Old School Ann Coulter. Tweaker who is full of shit.

  • I love how they would directly quote Florrie Fisher on SWC... Hilarious!

  • I was thrown off a horse and had to have a lamanectamy.

  • As someone known for abusing it, marijuana has not been good for my finances, career, education, or emotional health... But, in its defense: No one rapes, kills, or beats up little old ladies to get stoned/while stoned.

  • That is so true!

  • I wonder if she threw rocks at the indian?

  • Or did a donkey named Ramone?

  • Mm... good times.

  • also, the "crime of passion" story sounds fishy bc it reeks of reefer madness propaghanda, when in fact the drug is more of a downer than an upper and doesnt tend to cause violence.

  • it does seem like she embellishes or exaggerates...i dont think she got yellow jaundice 6 times, for example. people who are addicts and get clean tend to take an extremist view of drugs which is necessary for them, but not everybody fits that bill. some people can use alcohol or pot in moderation, for example, and others cant. i dont think any educated person would disagree that alcohol causes more harm than pot, which certainly should be legalized.

  • TammieDobbs- you are riiiiigth!" people who are addicts and get clean tend to take an extremist view of drugs which is necessary for them, some people can use alcohol or pot in moderation, "..we are thinking same in Spain..good job man..

  • i agree....i used to be an addict and i got clean, and i strongly disagree with the way this woman is speaking to these kids. if you wanna help people stop, you hafta give them realistic information, not shit like "my friend smoked weed once and then killed someone and ended up getting electrocuted"...that's not gonna help anyone. people aren't stupid, you can't make outrageous claims and expect them to not know you're making it up.

  • actually, she ended up going back to her druggie ways later on in her life.

  • Funny! I thought she was on drugs when she spoke to these kids!

  • So all of you people that think this woman is ridiculous are basically saying that hard drugs aren't dangerous??? I don't think she was even using "false information". She was using the street information that she had. What she was doing was presenting the argument that even casual marijuana use may cause you to end up in prison or in a psychiatric hospital. Is that wrong? Is that b.s.? I don't think so.

  • Like You Said, "She was using the street information that she had". Thats It. Let's Not Generalize Due To Strong Beliefs..

  • amazing...this is why swc is soo awesome.

  • "Anything I tell you is factual." Hahaha, I love that.

Hahaha, she is insane. Thank you ma'am for inspiring Strangers With Candy.

  • Woo Graduation Day! Hand me that heroin, Johnny!

  • Do you see that girl in the green dress laughing and smiling?

  • yeah are we laughing at her or with her.

i think she's funny because she has a personality

i think she's classic drug head got scared straight/or cut.

    but

    i don't think she's lying.

  • 'Why exactly do you think "Strangers With Candy" is funny?' Because it is totally hilarious is why. I love Strangers with candy.

  • She is sooo full of crap. ALl 6 people who smokedp ot but no heroin have killed people and got fried... Oh yes! Marijuana makes you so insanely violent!!! Junkie attention whore liar ey.

  • She was a boozer, a user and a loser! For Shaaaame, For Shaaaaame.

  • hilarious...

  • Wow, talk about something wrong upstairs.

  • Why she calls "stick of pot"?

"they smoked pot and commited crimes of passion and were electrocuted in the electric chair!"

Sorry, but the term "narc" must have come from this woman. She's probably a cop with a fake Jerri Blank persona. Look at the way she screams at that girl.

And Jesus! She was happy with the news about 85%. "See, you call me presumptuous ya little cunt?! I'm righter than right, you little whore! Ya REEFER SMOKING WHORE!!!"

I love how Sedaris caught her lips-biting tick.

  • ROFL!

  • WHY DO YOU THINK THEY CALL IT DOPE???

  • ya know, I've smoked marijuana for over a decade now and I have not been caught ONCE for any of my passion killings....pretty smart MY ASS!!!!

  • I love these old PSA type videos. Its hard to think there are still people out there that are as ignorent as her though.

  • Btw, if you are going to call someone "IGNORANT ", learn to spell it correctly. lol

This woman wasn't ignorant, she was amazing...a survivor. Seem she was also inspirational to influence Amy Sedaris to create a whole show based around her!

Pot isn't for everyone. For some it does cause brain damage and sever paranoia. I know someone who simply stays in his house and smokes pot non-stop. He's wealthy, he doesn't need to work. So yes, pot is addictive for some.

  • Wait, you think Sedaris created a show based on her to honor her?

Why exactly do you think "Strangers With Candy" is funny?

  • This women was anything but amazing.

Amy Sedaris was influenced to make a comedy show on how ridiculous she was.

    And boy was she ridiculous

  • Just WHY was this woman "ridiculous"? If you're going to make basic statements, back them up.

This pathetic, sad woman probably had more street smarts, guts and credibility to talk openly about her tragic life that you ever will.

Sedaris saw an opportunity to exploit her and she ran with it. She basically ripped off someone's tragic life. Making a long running joke out of tragedy really doesn't show that Sedaris is a person with much compassion.

  • This women was ridiculous by trying to use scare tactics and false information to "persuade" young people to go against drugs.

And by trying to be a role model by spitting out false information is pretty stupid in my book.

  • "This women" or "This woman" was ridiculous? And aren't you, Doc?

  • How dare you call yourself Vlad the Impaler you pussy. If you think marijuana makes you kill people, please, never reproduce. Ever.

  • You know that song, "Walk a Mile in MY Shoes", try it doctapeppa767. With a handle like that I can imagine you don't give much thought to anything.

  • "SEVER" or "SEVERE"

  • I loved it!!! Thanks for sharing!

  • Ms. Fischer said that "one stick of pot can get you 5 years" ...those kids look so guilty and PARANOID- check out the expression on the kid's face with the tie...he's probably wondering if the school is going to go through their lockers. There's a girl in the back that's CRYING. During the questions the black girl with the glasses SAID that about 85% of them were ON marijuana. 85% of those students are SCARED AS HELL! HAHAHAHA! This video rocks!

  • that's fucking hilarious that she's smoking while she says all this.

  • I know.

  • she looks just like jerri

  • Stoney and I would go over to Buckle's and Puff would turn us on to a HOT load of mescaline crumbled into a tumbler of ether with a float of Percocet jimmies. I'd wake up with blood on my ass, and then we'd get high. Those were some GOOOOOD TIIIIMES!!!

  • wow, next thing you know, she'll reclaim her virginity.

this is probably where they got those confusing dialogues from.

  • "this is probably where they got those confusing dialogues from"

    LOL, good point!

  • thanks for posting this!
