While most countries in the world spend less than 1 or 2% of their GDP on military. Burma spends 26% of its GDP on military budgets, more than any other country in the world by far. The so called leaders in Burma who previously stole power, need to release their political opposition from prison so they can speak their minds freely. Let a truly democratically elected government run Burma in a peaceful honest way. There is currently no election coming up only a planned scam by the military junta.

If it were documented in a better fashion, then yes; I would undoubtedly vote for it because it is sheer injustice and it informs a large audience of what is truly taking place. Then again, I can't really blame the cameraman for trying to make an amazing documentation when bullets whiz by his countrymen. Maybe I will vote for it.

It's a real shame once actual facts are used and not postulation. What you fail to understand, Luis, is that there is far more to the world just guns/no guns. There's population density, laws regarding the use of firearms (mandatory/minimum sentences), and general attitudes.

from what i saw of the video, some one back in the crowd threw something at the soldiers; that was once. multiply that attitude when the trucks arrived then it is easy to understand how any excuse to fire can come about. saddened by the loss of life. crowd seemed unsure of what was to happen. i could be wrong though. my take on it.
