Ich kenne da eine bessere Methode, die ich selbst erfunden habe.

Man benötigt dort sogar nur 1 repeater und um die 15 Redstone.

Das Prinzip ist einfach: Der obere Piston wird nur ausgefahren, wenn der untere vorher ausgefahren wurde(weil das redstone ansonsten zu hoch liegt. Und unten kommt vor den Piston ein Repeater auf 1, damit beim Einfahren der Piston erst als zweiter runtergeht.

It doesn't work because the redstone dust now connects to the front of the repeaters as well as the back. the redstone dust at 0:20 needs to not connect to anything for it to work

Yeah, doesn't work anymore in 1.9.6 and release candidate, I really don't know why they did these changes on redstone... My doors won't work anymore too, i now have to redo all the wiring, and pistons are f***** up at the moment (or i'm too dumb to get their new ways of working... -_-)

My pistons seem to work for the first one but then the bottom one contracts and then goes back out when the switch is off (when the second piston is closed). I've built 2 so far following exactly your steps but I can't seem to get it to work.

It's possible but this circuit seems to rely on it being in this exact arrangement. I tried to adapt it it to work with a line of pistons but it stopped working as soon as I changed anything. In fact it doesn't even work if there is no block on the top piston. A modified version of my 3 high portcullis controller can function as a double piston extender that will work with entire rows.

I got this working for myself with only using 1 repeater and 3 pieces of redstone dust, I found this out myself after experimenting it with the 1.7 release.
