@ajbalagtas Floyd Mayweather is a natural welterweight. Martinez is a middle-weight and the most Floyd has fought at is junior Middle-weight. Most Pacquiao fans Marvel at the thought of Pac defeating Margarito but forget the catchtweight conditions of the fight. Hence if Pac really transcends 6 weight-classes why does he not fight Sergio Martinez? Because Martinez would never be dumb enough to be a catchweight victim. Therefore Pacquiao is dodging Martinez.

@musood6630 because, floyd fights at 154 without a problem, pacquiao has never weighed higher than 147 in his life, thats why theres the catchweight. floyd and sergio is a perfect match, floyd has the frame and style vs sergios aggressiveness. and if floyd wanted to fight at 147, then go for pacman cuz sergio isnt gonna go down in weight. this is all on floyd to fight someone. pacman being the smaller guy, sergio being the bigger. 2 choices.

Manny fought Margarito at 148 and De La Hoya at 148.5 (De La Hoya weighed in at a low 147 catchweight). Mayweather never fought again at that weight so there is no real reason to suggest he should fight Martinez. His fights after that were at welterweight unlike Pac who last fought at super welter. So again if Pac doesn't have to fight Sergio then why Floyd?

Pacquiao and Floyd both don't have real reasons to fight Williams or Martinez. Pac should settle for a third bout with Marquez as his prior 2 were shaky at best. And Mayweather is a complicated story but he will be back. Khan, Maidana, Bradley are not in his league atm. They all have some fatal flaw.
