  • I was enjoying your vids until the republican bias

Look up the names of congressmen that voted for what spending when.

Look at the policies Bush, and previous presidents had put in place that have all caused too much government spending (including the drug war put in place in the 30's).

Bush got us in 2 trill no question. Arguably, I have heard Bush was the reason for 10 trill.

A trillion dollars has a lot of interest on it. Not a fan of Obama myself, but this debt isn't gonna go away with him.

  • This guy is just annoying. Period. How can you put 100% of the blame on obama and the left? You're telling me that not a single republican played a role in it? Not even .00001% of them were responsible? Im not picking sides but seriously?Fuck off dude.

  • Oil IS the fuel of the past. How is it that you do not get that? Oil is NON renewable and many experts agree that we have hit (or will shortly hit) peak oil. As the price of oil has increased so has everything else as it directly effects all other products. Its unclean and unhealthy. What do you expect people to do when gas prices hit $10, $15, $20 or more. They will DEMAND alternate energy that is clean and sustainable. Why do we wanna wait for that day to come when we can start now??

  • @strife987 Lets start with the moratorium is an artificial, illegal and damaging market forced being imposed upon our once thriving and competive oil industry. Then lets move to the fact that everything, EVERYTHING, productive in this country and every country in the developed world relies on oil at some stage. It is the fuel of the PRESENT. The reason prices are in the $5 range is because of things like the moratorium. It's bad for trade, it's bad for the economy and for the US.

  • Dident the Reagan administration increase the debt more then any other administration isnt it Cheney who said deficits dont matter ?

  • This is great, thanks voting a moron to run your once respectable country, because I'm pretty sure you won't be paying my country the amount we loaned to you anytime soon. ;)

  • Anybody who blames anything on a single political party is a damn fool. When the elite want something, they get it. Period. It doesn't matter who'd in office, it's always going in the same direction: Less freedom. Whether it be the democrats taking away your financial freedoms or the republicans taking away your personal freedoms, you are ALWAYS losing your right to the government. It seems the be the only thing both parties can agree on.

  • Stay debating and answering questions from high school students, your not smart enough to take it to a higher level. Maybe you can convince some wet behind the ears kid that the GOP and your conservatives are the answers to all our problems, when in reality, it is your GOP leaders that have dug the whole we are all buried in. And moron, oil is the fuel of the past, we are not making any plans for oil in the future, it is a diminishing resource, hence the search for alternative fuel sources.

  • you look so gay

  • How could anybody possibly argue that the liberals/democrats are responsible for the deficit?

When Clinton left office we had a $127 billion surplus. When Bush left office we had $1.3 trillion deficit and a projected 10-year shortfall of $8 trillion.

The last democrat to balance the budget was Bill Clinton. The last republican was Dwight Eisenhower. That was in the 1950s.

  • @shawnyadeadhomie because they are genius. Just look at the dates, who controlled congress and the budget.

  • roflmao ,.. i timed it , you can not go more then 12 seconds without saying something

stupid,.. i find it ironic you attack obama, when he clearly sold out his party and the people to the elite and is your sides MVP , he does whatever the rep want and he gets the blame ,... you point fingers at the crumbs he promisses and never delivers while watchign the greatest transfer of wealth from the poor to the rich in history .

  • @MrMentalflossed

i couldn't agree with you more! this guy in the video is really annoying because everything you said is 100% correct. i can't figure out what the hell they are complaining about. obama has caved in to the republicans on every major issue, and these jerks still find a reason to complain. i actually voted for obama, not he or any democrat will ever have my vote for anything, ever again

  • @MrMentalflossed

Obama never sold out wake the hell up that's id the modern democratic party

  • Ah yes, the Conservatives who gets pissed when you increase taxes on the wealthy by a little bit. You blame the liberals? Charge the goddam wealthy!! They ain't paying a single penny and the average American has to pay taxes while the rich swims on their pools filled with money.

  • @TheRPVids Then they are not working and need to be fixed yes. The education system in the USA is broken you need to fix it. Throwing money at it will not fix it. Medicaid, Medicare, and Social Security are broken you need to fix them. Why is that so hard for you to get. And stop with the we are just hurting low income and mid income americans. That is a load of BS. What's hurting them is government spending money they don't have and no they do not make jobs.

  • @TheRPVids Cutting what we are spending is the only answer. If you are in debit you don't go spending money you save money and cut out the things that are not need and the waste. The government does not make jobs and they should not be running companys or giving hand outs that's no there job. It never was there job and never will be there job.

  • @Epica124

to answer your question, you must stop spending AND increase your revenue. we must increase taxes on the rich, end corporate welfare, end foreign aid, end foreign wars and occupation and most importantly cut defense

  • @jumar1281 Oh for the love of. Just tax the rich that will fix ever thing. :|

  • @Epica124

it is part of the solution. we are currently in a time with the lowest tax rates in modern history. if you want to want to have a serious discussion about the deficit, you must decrease spending while simultaneously increasing your revenue. the taxes the wealthy pay are an absolute joke. in order to decrease the deficit, EVERYONE must feel the shared pain.

even with all that the first real step has to be to cut defense spending

  • @TheRPVids No what is adding to the deficit is out of date social nets that have not been fixed for the past 50 some odd years. :| Are government is spending like a drunk sailors. You can't keep spending money you don't have. You can't keep using the credit cards when you have debits to pay. Mom and dad (that would be the american people) are telling the kids( that would be the people in DC) that we can't keep giving you money if you don't cut spending.

  • Thanks for letting us know how high the deficit is while failing to tell us who got us there in the first place.

  • @IdRatherYouDidnt Obama and the Left are 100% responsible. There is your answer.

  • @HowTheWorldWorks

what kind of right wing republican moron are you? are you living in some kind of dream world? or are you just blind to the facts? Until you republicans do not start talking about major cuts to defense and increasing taxes on the wealthy, and holding corporations responsible to paying their taxes, you have no right to complain about the deficit. You LOVE paul ryan's proposal, yet the CBO says it will add to the deficit because of further tax cuts for the rich. you are a joke

  • @HowTheWorldWorks

what are you talking about?! When Clinton left office, we had a 127 BILLION dollar surplus, when GW Bush left office we were at a historic high 1.3 TRILLION DOLLAR DEFICIT. For you to say Obama is 100% responsible, you are either oblivious to facts, or just too big of a retard to even express an opinion. Please present some facts and not some brainwased Fox news propaganda. Obama increased the deficit, because he is weak as coward who won't fight back agains the republicans

  • @HowTheWorldWorks are u fucking stupid both sides of thhe government is complete shit.both obama and bush got us in this

  • @HowTheWorldWorks Yeah, never mind the iraq war that cost more than a trillion dollars or the economic collapse that happened under your buddy Bush.

  • @HowTheWorldWorks You're kidding right? What about the massive debt George Bush put us in? Do you really expect me to believe that Obama/the left are solely responsible for putting us in debt? What about the 5 trillion dollars (or more) Bush added on in his two terms? Are we supposed to ignore this? I'm sick of this us vs. them mentality. It becomes all about pointing fingers and less about solving problems. Let me clarify, I am not a republican or a democrat. Both parties are USELESS.

  • @IdRatherYouDidnt

Yes, I expect you to look at the damn numbers when Bush left Office. And also note that the GOP didn't control Congress after 2006.

  • @IdRatherYouDidnt who wan in congress when we had a surplus and who is in there now wake up

  • @IdRatherYouDidnt What about 1998 whenever Bill Clinton told Fannie and Freddie to give home loans to people who couldn't afford them? If you want to know why the economy is the way it is, you need look no further.

  • @IdRatherYouDidnt he did

  • He had a deficit commission propose $4 trillion dollars in cuts? Did they just say "Screw it, let's not spend any money this year!" ?

  • Shared sacrifice will help:

Cut Social Security = sacrifice by middle class workers

Cut Medicare & Medicaid= sacrifice by the elderly and the poor

Bust the unions=sacrifice by middle class workers

OK....now all you wealthy Americans; WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO SACRIFICE? STEP UP TO THE PLATE AND MAKE YOUR SACRIFICE.

  • I was a liberal ever since I found YouTube. I opened my mind and looked at both sides. If you open your mind and see differnt prespectives, you'll go far in life. Try It.

  • I definitely want to see spending cuts and have been exposed to seemingly endless amount of examples of frivolous expenditures; however, I wouldn't rank giving money to CBS to be anywhere near the top of that list.

  • I think Obama is trying to turn America into a ghetto... this isn't going to end well...

  • Now I'm not saying Obama hasn't added to the debt but look. Once George W. Bush was finished 8 years two wars the 22 billion given to rebuild ground zero etc he had us at 11.5 trillion dollars. Though that was after a 150 billion dollar surplus achieved by the previous administration under William J Clinton.

No one is perfect but stop blaming everything on the left it is getting tiresome. Bush had the Senate and House majority until 2006. He got nothing positive done.

  • Ah the defiet is higher than that dude 1.65 trillion I wish it was that amount. US National debt is 14.2 trillion and not slowing down.

This country isn't lawless is unbalanced. Ah yeah Obama is going to raise spending he's a democrat liberal with money. Conservatives are generally conservative with their money. But Bush was not a conservative President. Bush don't forget loaned 180 billion to AIG. A variety of the spending was initiated by the Bush administration. But you'll forget that.

  • why are you so stupid. One: oil is a fuel of the past, we will run out soon and if we don't figure out an alternative our whole society will collapse. Two: obviously this mess has a lot to do with the Bush tax cuts. In Americas post war 'golden age', tax rates on top 1% were above 70%. Although most importantly -which you didn't mention- it was about the bank deregulation started by Clinton but run with by Bush. If you wanted to wine I would give it to you that Obama's not fixing that problem.

  • You should have called this show "How the American conservative world works".

    Step One: State your propaganda

Step Two:Talk a lot of shit that no one gives a fuck about, or use shitty analogies about your conservative position

Step three: Throw mud at the other side

    Step four: Throw more mud

    Step five: Bit more mud

Step six: Forget it was a conservative government who fucked up what ever it is you are debating about.

Step seven: Your are now a part of the Bush family.

  • @AnAtheisticAbomb You should have a show called "How AnAtheisticAbomb" makes a fool of himself.

Step One: Make stupid, irrelevant, senseless points that only reflect your lack of intelligence and education in these subjects.

Step Two: You're now a liberal moron!

  • @CarlosMarti123

    for the lulz

  • This Guy is the worst in glasses! He sounds like a smart idiot! Lmao! Why is just looking at Obama??? Lmao! If you want to do a study and really show how the deficit works start with the WWII debt and then see the history of how it was being paid down. Carter was the last President to pay down the deficit. Reagan got in and it went near 200%, Bush Sr kept going up, Clinton went down (a lil) had a surplus, Bush W started back up, Obama Still up! So you see it's not a Liberal thing. Right?

  • as far as I'm concerned, as long as the US has debt, there would be a deficit.

  • Republican cuts would cost 700,000 jobs the next 2 years.

    news.yahoo(dot)com/s/yblog_thelookout/20110301/bs_yblog_thelookout/republican-cuts-would-cost-700000-jobs-report

  • If Republicans are so in favor of cutting spending, why extend a 700 billion tax cut for the rich? Don't even try to tell me that it'll help our economy. And lets keep in mind that when Obama came into office he took on a deficit that was skyrocketing, unemployment that was climbing faster than any time in history since the depression. He used Stimulus bills to save us from a depression. It worked, but it took spending to do it. So save your cheap shots please.

  • @tneighbors

Stimulus worked? Then do explain how Obama's own projected unemployment was off by 2.5% should the Economic Recovery Act pass?

Tax the rich? By all means! Why not tax EVERY SINGLE PENNY of income above 200k which amounts to 900 billion. Considering FY 2011 deficit of 1.65 TRILLION, you would still be operating at a deficit of 750 billion, genius.

Long term deficits are not the byproduct of low taxation, but high expenditures. Look no further than the U.K.

  • @RavingDissension There were many other job creating bills that were blocked by Repubs. While Obama was trying to help, Repubs were trying to thwart his efforts senselessly. what the hell ru talking about with the 900 billion statement? you need a new calculator. Tax cuts are an expense. Thats like saying spending 1000 more each month is worse than getting paid 1000 less each month. Either way, you are 1000 poorer each month. Sometimes I wish I were a republican so I could make stuff up.

  • @tneighbors

"here were many other job creating bills that were blocked by Repubs."

Clever use of bait and switch to dodge the question.

If you tax every single penny above 200k in earned income, you would collect a revenue of 900 billion. Considering Obama's proposed budget deficit is 1.65 trillion, you would still operate a deficit of 750 billion.

Sometimes I wish I were a democrat so I would illiterate.

  • @RavingDissension I didn't dodge anything. I'm just saying, Obama had a lot of bills that would have created jobs that the Republicans blocked. How can you expect him to get the numbers to where he had predicted if he has all these fake republican politicians constantly blocking everything so they can win the next election?

  • @tneighbors

"How can you expect him to get the numbers to where he had predicted if he has all these fake republican politicians constantly blocking everything so they can win the next election? "

I understand politics and logic are not your strong suit so let me babystep you into this: Obama said if the Economic Recovery Act was passed, unemployment would peak at 8%. The act passed Congress and signed into law. His estimation was 2.5% off!

  • @RavingDissension you can pick through his predictions and find the ones where he was off and point at those, but nobody has a crystal ball. Its the intentions that matter to me. Bush and Cheyney lied to us to get us into a war that killed over a million people. They condoned torture, gave expensive tax cuts to the wealthy, irresponsible stimulus bills, took away our privacy with the patriot act, and oversaw the near collapse of our economy. These are BAD intentions. Obama is cleaning it up.

  • @tneighbors .

    "nobody has a crystal ball"

His projection was a JUSTIFICATION for the stimulus. This is not some inconsequential prediction made by some shrink. Obama mislead the country into believing that if they spent 800 billion on the stimulus (discounting his deficit-record setting Omnibus), the country will only peak at 8% unemployment.

Such a gross miscalculation is at best disingenuous and at worst fraudulent.

  • @RavingDissension "If you tax every single penny above 200k in earned income, you would collect a revenue of 900 billion."

Turn the argument around: If you decide to cut all non-defense discretionary spending (i.e., attack the poor), you cut 610 billion dollars per year. It is about 15% of overall spending cost, yet Republicans love to cut that. House GOP wants to cut 61 billion.

  • Comment removed

  • @LJonathan

Attack the poor? Oh, you mean the least productive members of society who swallow up vast amounts of its resources. Give me a break. Even empathy has its limits.

In any case, ALL discretionary should be on the table for cuts (I never said anything to the contrary). Yet, the true factor driving the soaring deficits is entitlements. Even well-meaning and reasonable suggestions from Obama's own deficit panel were shot down by Pelosi and Reid.

  • @RavingDissension Of course everything should be on the table. That includes not extending the tax cuts, and giving more tax breaks to corporations, because you cannot pay for it no matter how hard you try.

The poor are not all unproductive, and those that are, are for a reason. It's complicated. Personally, I think the poor is almost always the victim, exploited by the rich as consumers and in politics. So giving them basic rights is not asking for much.

  • @LJonathan

Tax hikes, if they are considered, should have two stipulations:

    1. They're meant to reduce the debt, not offset rising spending.

    2. They should be done AFTER unemployment lowers to around 6-7%.

Clearly, the definition of "poor" is highly relative to the person who ask. In any case, except for the most down-trodden people, my personal experiences as a volunteer in community action groups is that welfare, to a great extent, subsidizes misery.

  • @RavingDissension Clearly, not extending the Bush tax cuts is not considered a tax hike. To make matters worse, Obama gave everyone tax cuts. The bill that cost 858 billion was a disaster.

  • @LJonathan

"Clearly, not extending the Bush tax cuts is not considered a tax hike."

Technically, as a matter of policy wording, you're right. Practically, as a matter of policy itself, it is a tax hike.

  • @RavingDissension Practically they raise it back to where it was, because the tax cut was a huge failure that and lead to adding at least a trillion dollars in debt. What you need to do is FIRST cut spending, THEN cut revenue.

  • @LJonathan

"Practically they raise it back to where it was"

Where it was- a higher margin. So in true practicality, it is a tax hike. You know it, I know it, and everyone knows it.

"adding at least a trillion dollars in debt."

It should've been accompanied with large spending cuts.

"the tax cut was a huge failure"

Post hoc fallacy- the credit crunch and housing bubble had little to do with tax policy; it was financial. The cuts actually lead to 16-20 quarters of stable growth.

  • @RavingDissension You are wrong. Tax cuts can have a positive effect, but what Bush did was focus on the people who spend less, who just stack money. Therefore what we saw (before the housing bubble if you want) is no growth, in fact it was the opposite. The rich got richer yes, but that's all.

Also higher debt leads to less investments, so you probably want to deal with the debt before you start handing out tax cuts. The added debt may very well have caused the negative effect of Bush tax cut.

  • @LJonathan

"but what Bush did was focus on the people who spend less"

Inaccurate. True, the purpose of tax policy is firstly, to change consumption patterns in the middle class, and secondly, change investment patterns in the upper class; the Bush tax cuts did both of these.

"The added debt may very well have caused the negative effect of Bush tax cut."

Wrong, the bond markets in the U.S. remained stable throughout the entire recession.

  • @RavingDissension Besides, I never said letting the Bush tax cuts expire would solve the entire deficit issue but it sure would help... A LOT! Why are Republicans so anxious to cut things like Social Security, welfare, and education, but they refuse to cut things like tax cuts for the rich and military costs. And why try to block a Health Care reform bill that would SAVE the country a Trillion and help everyone but the rich. Thats just plain evil.

  • @RavingDissension Republican presidents for the last 50 years or so have had the worst track record for spending and Bush oversaw the worse downturn in our economy since the great depression. Obama came into an unbelievably bad situation. Now you point your finger at him as he tries to clean up the mess? I'm betting you didn't have a problem with Bush passing out 300-600 bucks to just about every single citizen. That was just plain stupid.

  • @tneighbors Oh that Obama. He's a peach. There are fortunately fewer and fewer people who believe this. Truth will out.

  • say that to somebody that drives a car to work...that is the dumbest thing I have heard in a while....so when they said horses were the transportation of the past...your response would be tell that to somebody riding a horse? dumb..dumb...dumb...

  • Heh clown boy, Obama blah blah blah. Have you complied the numbers which show what the evil one has spent all of your dumb ass American dollars on exactly, to suddenly give America this giant debt hernia. Does any part of 10 years of war unfunded by anything except borrowing or the transfer of your nation of hillbilly joe boy/girl dollars to the wealthiest 3% have anything to do with it or are you just an other half baked half wit nattering on talking shitte which barely cuts it as rhetoric?

  • @steadiguy and yet all of the evil things Bush did didn't cost nearly this much. Hmmm.

  • 1.65 Trillion in the federal deficit.

You could eliminate the Pentagon with its budget for Overseas Contingency Operations (700 billion). You could tax every single dollar of income above 200k (900 billion). And yet, you would still be short 50 billion.

That's right. Even the traditional leftist arguments of blame the military and the rich for our problems don't even work. That's how out of control Obama is.

  • @RavingDissension so you don't think it has anything to do with the 2 wars that were previously not included in the budget...or the obligated bailout money that was inherited...

  • @dundura123

    Typical lib dumbass.

The Pentagon budget has a base of roughly 550 billion. I specifically cited 700 billion to include the OCO.

Also, FY 2011 has no obligatory spending for TARP. TARP is one of the most successful programs. All of it has been paid back and the taxpayers actually made a PROFIT on it.

    Back to Olbermann, idiot...

  • @RavingDissension this is not an area that I am particular familiar with...i like to hear other people's opinion...but if insulting people over the net makes you feel good...the so be it...just what we need another youtube thug....thanks

  • Comment removed

  • @dundura123

    First you say:

"insulting people over the net makes you feel good...the so be it...just what we need another youtube thug"

    Then you say:

"that is the dumbest thing I have heard in a while...dumb..dumb...dumb"

You're not only walking moron but a hypocrite. You have no problem condescending to others, but once it's done you, you rush to defend your tender sensibilities.

If you comment on something you know nothing about, don't be surprised if you're called out on it.

  • @RavingDissension you are correct...thanks

  • Yeah, it's all Obama's fault. You see, it's simple. What we need to do is give special consideration and tax breaks to the most wealthy. After all, they are the ones creating the jobs. And now after nearly 10 years of this "top down" economic policy we are wildly successful and the economy is in great shape. If Obama hadn't passed that health care bill (that nobody has read) this country would be in great shape thanks to Bush. No worries though, when the Iraq thing works out we'll all be fine.

  • FUCK, IT WAS GEORGE BUSHES FAULT THAT WE WERE BROKE DICKHEAD, fail go kill yourself.

  • @Cluoss Huh? Bush spent a trillion, Obama spent more, and all presidents for the last 40 years have been letting the entitlements go and accumulate $90 trillions in unfunded liabilities.

And I take it you are an Obama supporter. How is that civil discourse Obama asked of you going? hahahaha, are you even educated at all? Looking at your comment I would say no.

  • @ReasonOverBias lol, my little brother needs to watch his mouth. Personally I'm not a(n) Obama supporter, but I dont have many problems with him. He's is going to be the President the way he sees fit, we have no control over that. In my opinion though, instead of all of this fighting, we should be helping the President make the country a better place. On what my brother said, he was commenting on the wars, which him and I agree on the fact that they were unnecessary.

  • @ReasonOverBias On the education thing, I have my high school diploma, graduated as a Junior. Other than that I have no more formal education than that. Also Bush Increased the public debt by 4 trillion, it is projected that Obama will increase another 9 trillion, but we wouldn't be this far in debt if we hadn't invaded Afghanistan and Iraq, which is a pointless war, and would appreciate it if you could steer my towards the purpose of these wars, cause they are the reason were so far in debt.

  • @Cluoss I agree with you on this. However, your MASSIVE flaw is that this comment clearly is defending Obama:

"FUCK, IT WAS GEORGE BUSHES FAULT THAT WE WERE BROKE DICKHEAD, fail go kill yourself."

Assuming that really was your brother, and you are a more "civil" Obama supporter, well..... how can you be one? The troop withdrawal from Iraq has not sped up, and he sent more troops to Afghanistan. He is doing the same things Bush would have done in a third term.

  • @Cluoss the simple fact is, Obama does not get it at all. He proposes a budget that will increase our debt yet again. We are in the worst shape we have ever been in, yet he wants to continue spending. I don't care how good it is for us, high speed rail or education reform, when you are in massive debt and you can't afford shit do you pay for an expensive gym membership? No..... The only debate we should be having is where the cuts should be, not if they should be there at all.

  • @Cluoss You can hamper on Republicans for proposing no spending cuts in Defense and what not, but democrats aren't proposing them anywhere. Democrats voted for Iraq and Afghanistan, they have had power to block funding for the wars the last four years, they have failed. They are pro war, watch my video, why Democrats fail part one.

  • I'm not taking the fall for this if america collapses.

  • We can crawl out of the deficit, by using common sense. Raise taxes on the rich to Pre-Reagan Era levels, that was when the deficit wasn't a real factor. Get out of Iraq and Afghanistan COMPLETELY, end the war on drugs, legalize drugs, tax drugs, and cut the military spending. That's all you gotta do, and within 5-10 years, we're out of this hole that CONSERVATIVES created in the first place.

  • @cheapvids4u Legalize prostitution too while we're at it, everyone wins then! The prostitute makes the moolah, the customer is nice and happy, and this poor conservative can get some XD

  • umadbro? Suck it.

  • I got an idea, it's called 40% tax rates for people with income over 1 000 000$

  • @eef5510 its already way, way over that ass wipe

  • @collieh1 really, what is your tax rate then ??

  • @eef5510 i'm no millionaire, i don't even half to be. once you add up all the taxes its over 50%. fed tax at 33, state at 10, sales tax at 8, property tax, cig tax, dude it never fucking ends. essentially i am a slave to the government for 6 months, then the other 6 months i can work for myself.

  • @collieh1 lol, i thought it was 35% at like 300 000$ minus all the deductions which might add up to under 20%. Anyway, the goverments may not be the most noble institute in the world, espicially in the us but they need money. i give a fuck about greedy people who drive around mercedes or highly polluting hummers and dare to say they are over taxes as people around the world really don't have enough and some americans also do not have enough

  • @eef5510 rich people don't care that you can't provide for yourself/family. excessive taxes are slavery, end of story. sounds like you know nothing about sacrificing a decade of time and effort to acheiving one goal, all the while watching other motherfuckers doing absolutely nothing, and when you finally make it, they want you to be their slave for 6 months. dude fuck that shit, i work harder than 97% of people, so i should be compensated accordingly.

  • @collieh1 OMG, you just say that rich people don't care about poor people so freely and openly with no pressure what so ever from me?? you are obviously not the person I want to talk to or associate with. I hope that one day you realize how it is to be truly poor or have a lot of medical bills. F U, i don't want to talk to you anymore cause i allready won

  • @eef5510

my comment was in response to your statement that you don't care about wealthy people. it is no more out of line than yours. because essentially what you said is that it doesn't matter how hard somebody works, they should never be able to reap the benefits of their labors. sorry, but i take offense to that. I don't have time to worry about other peoples problems. I already donate/have stolen 50 percent of my time, I feel a thank you is in order. but i know thats asking too much.

  • @collieh1 you don't care for anyone but yourself? you're the type of ass that goes to foreign country and keep on saying you guys sure are strange. Don't give me my daddy works his ass off for 10 000k not 6 000k. you still get paid more, who gives a fuck if more is 1 000 000 or 100 000! survive with your money, and tell all your republican friend to only work 60% of the year you greedy self centered blind person.

  • @eef5510

I don't have a problem with donating to charity, when i get to pick the fuckin charity. When its theft in the form of taxes, I feel no gradification for my contributions whatsoever. Don't think i'm some heartless fuckwit because i hate theft.

  • Ignoring the supreme court gos back to the Jackson Administration.

  • lol and "the liberal" =P

  • sooooo what happens with all this debt? What will happen if we can't pay it? Will america collapse or something lol?

  • @knockdoun Yes

  • @knockdoun yes, actually. If we can't pay the debt, then China has pretty much complete control over us. If they see that we can no longer pay back the debt, then they (along with other countries) will stop lending us money, meaning that we will have absolutely no money to spend, aside from our own. It amazes me how people don't care about the debt, yet they want so much gov't spending--if we keep raising the debt, we will have to drastically cut spending once they stop giving us money.

  • Let's get the video of the debates you do!

  • @IAmTheBest35 I couldn't believe it, so I did my own math, and you absolutely correct. That's a giant mindfuck!!

  • you better check your info bro...

and you are way too bias

  • NPR or PBS doesn't need federal funding. Obama really has me confused on this decision...I thought he was going to be a better decision maker, like we saw late last year.

  • One thing, "cars to work ! "i am seeing too many sport utes and trucks, and the people driving them saying they cannot afford gas, well i'l be darned!! i guess so!! they should be driving cars!!! How bout this people that drive cars should get gas at a lower price!

  • I can't believe you don't know how the tax breaks on the rich have & will balloon your deficit. I can only conclude you're a liar.

  • And don't EVER talk about conflict of interests, unless you are willing to mention that Justices Thomas and Scalia have been BRIBED by Koch industries to rule on the Citizens United case in favor of corporations.

    Hypocrisy Hypocrisy Hypocrisy

  • @loveofphysics I call Bullshit on that statement.

  • If we didn't extend the Bush tax cuts for the rich, we could be talking about just a $1.00 trillion deficit.

You pretend to care about the deficit, but you held the poor and working class hostage to give $700 billion to the "suffering" people who happen to make $250,000 a year. You are a complete hypocrite.

  • uhh... not news to me.

When Bush left office the US owed $13 trillion. Now there's $14 trillion in debt.

  • Does anyone remember when Obama said in the 3rd Presidential debate Oct 2008: "What I've done throughout this campaign is propose a net cut in spending." I guess that had an expiration date 1/20/09.

  • Could you please link to the debate you referenced in the video? I'd like to see it... it must be up somewhere, right? :/

  • barak obama is saving your ass from the shit hole that GW threw us into!

You don't want to hear a democrat mentioning the tax cut for the riches? why not??

NPR is the greatest and probably the only true media left in this country

Gas companies? didn't the gulf of Mexico the BIGEST damage in the history to the nature? do you think YOu and your OIL COMPANY Buddies own the earth?

destroying the economy during resession????? typical republican!

    this is 100% bullshit -

  • @alixixi typical democrat. all the facts wrong.

  • @daboodeef179 you guys have such a short memory. you already forgot our economy was in the verge of collaps? the financial crisis, the housing crisis, the car industry crisis, iraq crisis ..... how soon you forget

  • @daboodeef179 and i'm not saying everything is warm and fuzzy but definitely going on the right direction! and i don't mind some republican with a brain as president but can you imagine mccain/palin disaster if he had become the president?

  • @alixixi Don't know why you want to blame everything on GW, I didn't support the guy but you honestly think Obama is saving us? Really? Your missing the point on the oil companies thing. And whats wrong with offshore drilling? Until a true alternative appears (Hydrogen not the 4hourstorecharge electric bullsh**t) you (yes you) need it. It provides transportation of your person and every single thing in your home.

Being a hypocrite. Typical Liberal! (see I can make pointless arguments too!)

  • @mikeyboy236 mikey, i'm not not blaming "everything" on GW but attacking Iraq was (is) devastating to this country, If US hadn't attacked, Iraq would have been the next one on the list after Egypt to get rid of the dictator

You are completely right about fossil fuel but true alternative energy needs funding and determination and your tea party is there the to kill both. and nothing is wrong with offshore drilling and as i remember he signed the bill to allow it just after BP accident

  • @alixixi Yeah, Bush kind of sucked. He made a lot of the same mistakes Obama is making. Admittedly I've never listened to NPR, but the very idea of government-run media should turn people right off for obvious reasons. And, the Gulf Oil Spill... what's that have to do with anything? Nuclear power stations have messed up before, but we don't want them all going out of business, because what they do for society is still important.

  • @9jv4 NPR is not a government run but government funded public radio. i suggest listening to it for couple of hours and i'm sure you realize what I'm saying. about the oil moratorium, let's understand the issue! so the oil companies have permit to drill offshore but they want more permits? what does this more mean? what is enough? the solution is not in drilling more holes on the planet and produce more co2 but go for the alternative energy - burning coil and oil nowadays looks pre-historic

  • gay conservative?? isn't that an oxymoron?

  • @alixixi There's more to conservatism than wanting a big house in the suburbs with a wife, two kids and dog. You can be gay and still believe in small, limited govt; low taxes, etc..

  • @9jv4 maybe he should say fiscally conservative gay then : ).

gay conservative sounds like atheist priest to me

  • Y U NO push Ron Paul?

  • Another problem is redundancy. For example, non-securities bank deposits (checking, CDs, savings, money market) are insured by the FDIC. The same is insured by the NCUA if you do business with a credit union rather than a bank.

The Bush administration had a plan to consolidate financial regulatory agencies but that never came to fruition.

  • It is the highest deficit only in nominal terms, and it is because Obama cut so many taxes. Herpa Derp.

  • asasa

  • Think of it this way. If every dollar of that deficit was represented by exactly one grain of sand...then you would have 9,457,831 pounds, or 4,729 tons, of sand in total. That is the equivalent of 955 elephants or 10.5 Boeing 747s filled to capacity. That is a LOT of money.

  • Obama can do no wrong...he just sucks

  • 48 people are psychonuts who only think on one side.

  • I ask again; Why is Ken Salazar not in jail? This judge has ruled the federal gov't, and the dept of Interior in partcular is in contempt of court. We need to be asking our representatives, our local and national media why Salazar has not been thrown in jail.

  • where can we see the video of your debate?

  • I refuse to believe that HTWW has an agenda to push.

  • @HowTheWorldWorks Great video! Keep on exposing the truth to the younger generation! I like the look of your video, DSLR right? 5dmkII or 7d?

  • Agreed - this deficit could land america in trouble. The uk conservative government have made tough but essential decisions to reduce the deficit here.

As for the oil comment, Obama obviously didn't mean that 'noone uses oil anymore', he is referring to the reduction and eventual phasing out of oil. And why not? Cleaner energy production can be a profitable industry and improve quality of life for everyone. Look at what happened when coal was phased out in favour of oil.

  • @Starsandfunk "Obama obviously didn't mean that 'noone uses oil anymore', he is referring to the reduction and eventual phasing out of oil"

Technically the "fuel of the present" are fuels we use now (oil, natural gas, hydro-electric, nuclear). The "fuel of the future" would be those that we might have now, but that aren't ready for prime time (solar, wind, algea, dylithium crystals, antimater, gravitons - too comic book?). "Fuels of the past" are those we used to use, but don't (wood, horse).

  • @bsabruzzo uh, ok, thanks for the statement of the obvious. My point is that he obviously wasn't implying that everyone should stop using their cars tomorrow and start walking - not even Fox would draw such a ridiculous conclusion.

  • $1.65 Trillion deficit is for the CURRENT year 2011.

  • How can say that Obama has made a wrong move when need this much spending in a economy like this.Taxes have not change at all, we are just using the money we have.Right wingers like you have so many holes in your logic. Also, why do you discourage spending in this world so much, we will never get anywhere without spending and making ourselves have a better living standard.Cheap people like this guy will turn America into the soviet union if we let him into office.

  • Under Ronald Reagan, the country's debt as a share of GDP grew from 32.5 percent to 53.1%

  • Love it from 3:05 onwards, killer stuff!

  • Comment removed

  • Given the history of the GOP, anyone who felt GOProud shouldn't have been at CPAC has no idea what it means to be a conservative. But of course I'm simply stating the obvious.

  • king of the dorks!

  • I thought that was so cool that GOProud was at CPAC.

I think that both the gays and the lesbians have balls! :)

Limited govt people and those who understand liberty have to know that gays and lesbians have to be allowed to marry.

  • Dude. Oil isn't just fuel. It's in everything we make. Maybe one day it will be the fuel of the past, but not now. Until then, we need it to make tennis shoes, plastic, tires and just about anything you can think of. Just about everything needs oil.

It's the lifeblood of our nation. And it does more than just provide gas for the cars.

  • It's Bush's fault

  • it makes me a little uncomfortable to see HTWW delete his own comments..especially when the comment just above and below his are also deleted.

if someone just spams or shouts insults, then deleting their comment isn't censoring imo, its just a clean up for civil discussion, ill just assume thats all it is.

  • Your narrow-minded view of the world makes me uncomfortable.

Feels a lot like a wedgie, actually.

  • You right-wing, Teabaggers, just don't get it, don't worry about the deficit. Our Chinese masters will take care of it for us.

    Don't worry.

  • I thought this was going to be informative, but it was just some kid raging. He completely ignores that just as Bush was going out of office the market collapsed in America and had an echoing effect in the whole world. This was before Obama. Obama is not the best president, but he's way better than Bush. America should learn something from the European north, although Republicans would probably stop any policies that benefit the whole country and not just the extremely rich.

  • @1990yoyo You want to know why we "benefit the extremely rich", aka, just don't tax them until they have no money?

It's because, defined by law, companies are single entities, and are, as such, defined as a single person. By that, if we tax the top few percent of wealth (who already pay nearly most of our taxes anyways), we're also taxing jobs away.

  • @thatonedude675 Even with low tax rates, the wealthy stash their holdings away in the Bahamas and the Cayman Islands to avoid taxes.

  • @thebsdguy Doesn't change that they STILL pay most of America's taxes.
