I played the game with at least 3 enemy teams. 1 of them was NOD and another 1 was GDI (I started as Scrin).

I destroyed each of their defences around their MCV then sent in an engineer. Once I took over their MCV I drove it out of there and then set up a new base using the brand spanking new MCV. That gave me access to that teams buildings and troops. I just built up enough to get their super weapon.
