"whose broad stripes and bright STARS" is where you push sharp. do you hear that? by the way...i might have been harsh before...just being honest...cuz i think with another couple attempts, you have a good performance. oh, and i don't like the fall-off you do on "that our FLAG" i actually really want to hear you do this again. i like your own ad libs and the ways you make the end your own. i love sandi and have this track...you make me want to post myself singing it now!
@Jestophre No I dont find the critique harsh. It was pretty detailed and technical. If you were giving an uneducated opinion I would dismiss it, but you were very clear in what you thought could be improved upon.
and it would be great to hear your rendition. Feel free to post it. I have subscribed to your channel so I will get an alert when its up!
@Jestophre Yeah post yourself singing and then you can comment on someone else. You sound stupid Jestphre and who cares what you like. I will be waiting for your post with you singing. You sound so dumb I am sure you cant sing a note
You should do this again. It could be really good! The whole first portion is weak and many times off pitch (pushing sharp). But I think it's because you're under-singing and not supporting with good breath. When you really start supporting the voice in the "And the rocket's red glare" section, you have some really great moments. I love the ad lib on "was still there". And you have a great solid Bb at the end...just get a good low breath before the last note so you can sustain.
@Jestophre Thank you very much for listening and for giving me such detailed input! I will definitely give this another go and pay more attention to my breath support.
Thanks again for such a detailed and honest critique!
Awesome job! I need a copy of that Sandy's Performance track. Do you know where I could find it?

@jhudd2 thanks for sticking up for me! However Jestophre didn't mean any harm. He was just being blunt as he is a professional musician and singer.
I checked out his singing and he is pretty good! He hit some nice high notes in O Hoy Night.
But thanks for the props jhudd! Thank you so much for listening!!!! Its really appreciated!
