I think you could put them pear slices to boil just as is, on slow fire, yes it takes a lot of time, but then the juice comes out and slices disolve and that's the jam.
You guys make a really nice couple. Sweet! I wish we had more families that had the strength and gentleness you guys project. Nice stuff! Thanks for the lesson and for sharing yourselves.
Thanks for the comment. Guys at work just found my channel it's nice to hear something positve. You know how us guys can be at work, always bustin one another's chops about something or another. I'm just as bad! Thanks again. By the way where are ya in KY?
@MrBillypoe Let'em bust chops, as you bust out top-notch vids. We both know where that landed a particular fellow! ;) I'm up near Louisville. Also have some family down your way.
Yea I lived in Louisville when I first got out of the Corps. I was a corrections officer in Peewee Valley and hated it. Ill be in Louisville during the spring semester if all goes well. I'm scheduled for a 13 week training course
I have to agree with mem7048, I too am glad I subscribed to your channel (and to a fellow Kentuckian!). Great quality, clean, videos!! Could've easily called this one "Pair Jam" as well. ;-)
Great video! Glad I subscribed to you! Has anyone else noticed the irony of the fact that this was a production based on canning in Ball jars, written by Ball, but everyone else in America refers to them as Mason jars?
Thanks! Well the receipe was a little sweet for me. I did get a good tip from an older lady who says a good balance it one cup of sugar per one cup of fruit.
Yeah I found that out after this batch. Live and learn. Thanks for the comment

P.S. You only need about 2.5 cups of sugar:)
