pop stars dont sample; sampling is used in underground hip-hop and djs who keep hip-hop traditional. the stuff you hear on the radio, including the music of most mainstream rappers, is made with 100% machine.

I am a law student/ rookie producer and I would love to sample this song. If done well, sampling can actually bring out unique elements of a song.

Is there a law in those books that says people are no longer able to come up with their own music instead of lifting it from other artist's.I've yet to hear a sampled song that was as good as the original.That's just my humble opinion though. You have fun with that and I'll stick with the original.

It's not supposd to be better than the original its supposed to be different, new and take it into a different direction.

Every piece of music has borrowed from someone else. That's the only way to create new stuff,
