It's like you're feeling triumphant that for once we french-speakers can understand something english-speakers can't. Why not be in favor of propagating knowledge without discrimination? English is an easy language to translate and someone should volunteer to translate

I note that professor Claude Lévi-Strauss is celebrating his 99th birthday today. May he live even longer! His contribution to world academia has been tremendous, and I hope he will continue to contribute to it in the coming years.
