My piggy gave birth to 5 babies, a few years ago, and one of them had a similar problem, but less intense. It could walk, but was about half smaller then the other babies. The mother was refusing to feed him and he died 3 days after birth.

aww poor little thing i rescued 5 little piggys about 2 weeks ago 4 of them was in bad state and one had a baby one died about a week ago we gave her a proper send off atleast she died in good arms the rest are getting much much better now one has a big hole in her side so we have to squeeze nasty stuff out and put special gel on it every day and one of them is about to have about 2 or 3 babys as well xxx

I am so so sorry that your deformed guinea pig passed away! My guinea pigs are not deformed except for one that had passed away because of mites, his tooth was deformed so it was hard for him to eat!

@VioletPurple121 I'm pretty sure inbreeding, and cross breeding certain breeds of pigs can cause it. One of our pigs had babies, 2 were stillborn with similar problems, they were born with natural malocclusion, and disproportionate body parts. They don't live long, if they aren't still born. the other 2 lived for a couple of years, the one's teeth were growing improperly, and the other passed away from a fight with his brother. It's tough, and it's not always our choice.

its possible u could have gotten something like some legos and made him a lil cart with wheels to center him on with a lil strap with a little cottin padding on his back to fasten it _gently_on to keep for mobility and upright...the constant handling and allowing him to sit in a twisted position made it hard to breathe and caused further spine damage. BUT since it didnt come to mind and u did the best u could and_assuming_ur family couldnt afford a vet, he was glad someone loved him so much. :-)

Also if you had taken this guinea pig to a vet they would have put him down straight away as it's HUMANE to do so. You obviously didn't take him to a vet as they wouldn't have sent you home with the guinea pig like that as it's animal cruelty. sorry for the hard truth of the fact.

Yes someone loves him, then parades him on youtube instead of taking him to a f***ing vet!! COMMON SENSE. This 'lady' showed this piggy his friends running around, something he could not do, tortured this piggy by saying look he can but you can't so we are going to youtube you and let you die slowly. A vet thats what they are called, a vet would consider this crulty. Trust me I work with them!! and they say the same as me!!

im so sorry about him.we once rescued guinea pigs and save orphaned baby ones but my dogs ripped up their hughe cage and killed my favorite one i raised since it was born when the mother had had all 3 babies and sat on them,purposley killing them.my mom walked out there just in time to save the little runt.he followed me around everywhere.........i haven't got anymore.its been years

they are all walking a little slow, instead of all bouncy, did u feed all of them? the babies are weened by 2 or 3 weeks. they start nibbling solids right at birth but drink the milk too. maybe the milk wasnt enough?

Aw so sad! I had 2 sick babies, one couldn't walk till he was 2 days old and even then he wasn't there, & one that just couldn't stand & shaked 24/7 both rejected by their mother, one survived as he was a real fighter, & the other sadly died at 5 days old! =( She was looking up & getting stronger but that afternoon she died, she suddenly took a turn for the worst =( She didn't die alone though, she was in my arms until her last breath, she was a very poorly baby, R.I.P Cocoa
