I've had fibro for about 8 years now & my parents still don't understand. My mum makes stupid remarks like have a glass of gin & go out see friends then you forget about feeling sorry for yourself, I've also got menieres disease, don't know if that's common among fibro sufferers. At the moment I have shingles & am getting loads of sympathy for that as people can see the rash & have had it themselves so they know what it's like, we have to bring our illness to public attention like cancer etc!!!
great video thanx. im 23 with fibro had it since i was as young as 4. i no that if i didn't have my children wen i did *19* *21* i would not b here, it was all getting two much. the pain the tired ness the judgment. Suicide seemed like my best option. I still have those things but now i have my boys to live for, but who no's what will happen when they are old enuff to look after themselves.

suicidal hmmm well thats up to who made the vid as he feels what he feels and some of may or may not be able to relate to all or most symptoms....it can cause S.T. and does think about how miss-understood it is and 'invisible' it is and how alone FMS/CFS sufferers can feel....i posted vid on my site, very good job.
suicidal is the leading death of FMS -- some people can not deal with the pain and all that comes with it. Remember Jack Kavorian? Some of the people he helped with had severe FMS.
Why? Its a real issue, and knowledge can be helpful. Covering it up or "sugar-coating" it won't change the facts. Doctors have only recently began believing women who have this.
