"That is because they believed, then they rejected Faith: so a seal was set on their hearts: therefore they understand not"- Holy Quran 63:1 The word Munfiqun is rooted in the word Nifaq which means to sell. Sunnah is correctly understood as example- Prophet (S) was a living example of Quran. Nifaq corrupts Sunnah. It means we cast off Quran and put on costumes in order tho sell an image. Hence, a Muslim is not taken seriously unless he plays dress-up. Intelligence is lost and Ummah is stagnant.
At some point we'll have to address the mistranslations of the Quran. Allah says He revealed it an Arabic Quran that we may understand. The Arabic Quran warns us of misgudance and misinterpretation of the Arabs 9:97. In Light of this verse, we should caution ourselves about following them without investigation. The Arab translators have mistranslated the word Al-Araab into Bedion. This is what the Bani Israel did as well, to conceal portions of the book, which is a major sin.
