Evan did the hair for the movie, but dressed up in dark all on her own accord. It was not her boyfriend's idea. In fact, the need for change troubled their relationship. Even Marilyn is not spared from the little problem guys have when their girls dye their hair. Not to say there weren't other problems, though.
