Its sad to see how much we pollute the world and also how it effects others like animals at sea. Hopefully with the results from the tests on BPA will open more doors to alter the chemical so we can prevent harm to babies and other creatures.
Exactly! It's all about the money! It's in everything we make, so take away the BPA, and you have a problem. I want them to get rid of BPA, but if they do that, there will be a money crisis! So maybe try to alter the chemical. If it's an acid it could react with other elements or chemicals. In the meantime... I need to stop drinking soda... :(
Of course the plastics industry will claim BPA isn't very harmful for babies. One cannot expect them to do very much about the situation, simply because they are largely motivated by money. That's just the way capitalism works; honesty and idealism seldom pays off in the short term.
It is up to the individual. Each and every one of us has to lead our lives in a way that doesn't harm the environment more than "necessary". It's everyone's responsibility, not just the corporations.
I’m sooo glad Dr. Fred vom Saal did this study. Three and a half (3-1/2) years ago we had an awful time finding BPA free baby bottles and sippy cups for our infant (yeah for glass bottles and Born Free plastic sippy cups/bottles). These days almost every single baby bottle and sippy cup on the market is BPA free. How times have changed - if this was a farce, why would all the major companies take the time and money to go BPA free - I think it says something.
There is little we can do about all this giving that just about all the food we eat surely comes in contact with plastic as some stage or another during the processing stage. All we are left with, is whether we treat it from care from when we buy it onwards and make sure not to store in plastic from then onwards. But we have no idea how long it may have been in plastic on the shelf of the store.
there is the possibilty to buy food directly from the producer:
our hardworking and underpaid farmers!! for sure it is not as comfortable as to get everything from the local supermarket, but for sure the quality of the food, be it meat, eggs , vegetables or milk is worth the effort!!
Is BPA known to make maes more feminine due to the estrogen??? I don't think it does from what I gather. As far as I know, it just gives prostate cancer & leads to several abnormalities in the male reproductive system. As long as I don't become more fem!
Try stop, please. I'm sure of the fact that some people do their little bits individually already makes a huge difference world wide as is. You needn't even tell anyone you're doing your little bit; just as long as you do it & know your making a difference to the world.
I've often drank water out of a bottle left in the sun as a child, or drank/ate out of container in which the food had been stored for ages. Judging by the amount of BPA that has already entered my system means that whatever I do now, (as regards what he's saying) will hardly make a difference.

I think you came to the wrong video to comment about nazi trash. The nazis weren't associated with power or control since the 1940's.

Was this the program Edward Norton was in? I think he does quite a good job as commentator actually.
How did he end up getting to act like he's a scientist and in control of it all???
