I let them hatch in the tank with their parents and then catch the fry once they have been free swimming for a few days.

I'm looking to get a couple of geophagus. Can you tell me how big they get? I know there's a few differant species. What kind stays up to 6inches or smaller? I have a 46g bowtank

These are Geophagus sp. 'Rio Negro I', newly described as G. winemilleri.
