You guys have no idea how people react in Slough things like that. If they fall like that, everyone has to get straight off the ice immediatly. It's not that special to film, we get things like it all the time. And theirs not any blood, and if their is then it's extremely rare.
At my rink if someone falls ignore it. If someone gets hurt without blood ignore it the coach will handle it. Normally the person exits. If someone is injured that requires an ambulance, we are to exit the ice and let the coaches and paramedics handle it.
Right....I had a pretty nasty fall, I was trying a simple move that I had done a thousand times before (Forward spiral) and something went wrong and I cracked my head on the ice, It wasn't that bad, I skated after that but only about 5 people out of 50 came to see if I was alright but 5 is fine by me, I would've hated the whole of the skaters crowded round me...
its not that they didn't care, its just you have to keep skating. and if it were me i would keep skating, its not that i dont care its just that i dont like blood. and if you got hurt would you like everybody crowding around you!? i wouldn't the person need space. you people just assume that nobody cares. i admit some might not , but maybe people didn't know or see it. (highly unlikely because if it were me id be screaming loud)
U r supposed to continue on skating, not stopping, cuz the injured person needs air. Don't crowd around them, it would freak the injured person out too much. Ur NEVER supposed to crowd around someone when they fall while skating. Never.
some guy i know fell over on the ice... he went to stop himself and someone didnt stop in time and skated over his finger. It was HORRIBLE... blood everywhere, they toook him off the ice and then they had to get everyone off the ice to clean all the blood off. He was okay tho, he didnt lose a finger or nuthin, just cut it badly.
@bayi159357 I'm glad that everything turned out okay! In skating we're told to tuck our hands/arms in to prevent someone from skating over them. I would feel so bad being the person who caused the guy to get cut as well.
@maosoon you are supost to continue skating, im a figure skater my self and whenever someone gets hurt you have to keep skating the couch will deal with it....

The guards at the place i skate at tell you to continue skating but to go around the person. basically redirecting traffic away from the accident.
