Last year audition in S'pore saw that most of the successful contestants are from M'sia. But i was surprised that in 星光7, one M'sian contestant ie Ting Ting selected from S'pore audition has his country name mentioned as S'pore but not other. Can somebody enlighten me on this? I've encountered the same thing in 2009/2010 world minan song contest. She told the judge she is from M'sia attended audition in S'pore. But in the contest she was named as a S'pore contestant. Why?

She went to there for audition as the audition was only held in Singapore. don't you see 'malaysia' written beside her name whenever she was performing? somemore, tao zi jie always mentioned malaysia. i don't understand why ppl could be mistaken that she's from singapore instead.

.........其實，馬來西亞從來不缺歌唱人才，如當年的曹­格，雖然在本地的選秀比賽落敗，但他的音樂才華在台灣得到賞識，­接而崛起成為金曲歌王。接下來的龔柯允、符瓊音，到今天的李佳薇­，不都分別在超級巨聲，超級偶像及超級星光大道裡一鳴驚人，一戰­成名嗎？那到底是甚麼因素導致他們必須在出走馬來西亞後，才發光­發熱呢？
