Last time I flew was on United First Class from Columbus to Las Vegas, with a stop in Chicago. The food service was very disappointing. Breakfast on the way out was cold in spots. I expected better. If my meals were as good as what I saw there, I would have no complaints.
Great food. It looks really good. I hope that when the merger finalizes, United ditches it current caterer and uses CO's caterer. CO's food is just head & shoulders above UA's.
@sfflyer123 I agree, for years now CO catering has been better than other US airlines. CO owns their own catering company Chelsea. Chelsea is now part of the new United and will be taking over more of PMUA catering.
@020808 Yes, that will be excellent. They really need to can UA's caterer. I think UA's caterer single-handedly just really brought down UA's reputation. Overall, UA is a very good airline, and now with the lie-flat business class seats, it's a good product. It's the food that people have complained about as just a sub-par business. Hopefully, CO's caterer will come in and really shape things up.
lota meat thre lol... AA first class is my favorite but I've never tried Continental, so I don't know, but judging by your video it must be exquisite.
Some flights are chartered by "special people" but the airline decides to offer the flight as a special as it is on another plane or to a destination not served by the airline to the "regular people" for a higher price and usually a one time offer hope I cleared it up for all the less smart (respectivly) people out there
you should try catching the daily 777 from houston to newark and newark to houston. IDK y they have a 777 for that, but delta is worse, using 777's from atl-jfk...
@TheLiLD95 Someone charted the plane in Seattle. Continental had to fly the plane to Seattle. Since it was in Newark, the just made it one of the Continental flights. It was a 777 to Seattle and a 737 back. I took a 757-300 to Houston, since I live in Dallas. I was in New York for a few days, flew there from New to Orleans on Continental. Took this 777 to Seattle and stayed there a few days.

OMG...all that food makes me feel ill. Is that all in ONE sitting/meal service????
midwestairlinesinc 9 months ago
@midwestairlinesinc Yes all of that is served in one sitting. It's a five course meal.
020808 9 months ago
@midwestairlinesinc Why does that food make you feel ill? It's normal food, just like in a restaurant.
