  • siguro e dahil nga talaga sa pagod at stress kaya nabigla din siguro si Mayor Duterte. But all swells ends well.. at least they made to forgive each other.

  • The whole island of Mindanao is a big misconception of a blemished image, a war-stricken land inhabited by savages, more like a whole different country joining the ranks of mogadishu, darfur, kosovo and chechnya. But all the promises that this land upholds and its glorious riches are blinded by irresponsible and cheap journalism of the media. The propagation of this lame stereotype leads to complete social ignorance of the national and international community.

  • This is when democracy becomes full of s***. Frequently, the law only goes to the people who have the money and power! If the the capitalists are self-sufficient, who will defend the masses? The Philippines needs one good leader to change the whole system. Our society needs an AUTOCRAT with a HEART (nothing like Marcos). When that time comes then a strong nation shall rise!

  • Davao is inhabited by Thinking Filipinos. A first-world city in a third world country. If not for the Dutertes, it is ZERO!

  • @bisayangdako100 been to Davao. Still a bit off. Blind loyalty is blind.

  • @russelg000 I opt to be an optimist not a cynic. Davao is no utopian world not even close, but i am happy and so are the million individuals around it.

  • @bisayangdako100 Not arguing with you. You're content because you're there and you have leaders that might not care about what this incident says. When I worked for DWOB - Davao is hardly a 1st world city. It lacks the infrastructure that you need to be considered to be one. It's kind of a shame that people are praising a politician for resorting to violence, but in all truth when you're fed up and got nothing else to loose - people look to dictators for some sort of leadership so I understand.

  • @russelg000 Davao is not Melbourne or Vancouver, if that is your subjective image of a first world city. It's unique in its own way and stands proud for what it is right now. But beyond that, isn't it good that we are enjoying a good quality of life that was built and maintained by thinking Filipinos. First world status is defined by a country's wealth, GNP in particular. But we have more than what money can offer just look around.

  • @russelg000 For the lack of infrastructure....How can we progress if the imperialist National Capital Region gets the lion's share of the people's money and ends up to the filthy-hands of politicians with no moral fiber. I wish that we move to a federal government. Sadly the malignant social stigma is being inherited like an heirloom from one generation to the next. If Jose Rizal is still alive today, i bet with all conviction, he'll punch the sheriff too.

  • @russelg0 State-of-the-art traffic system, Central 911, free healthcare for the finacially unable indigents, People's Park, Multi-million calamity fund handed out as financial aid to other local governments, Smoking-ban, Firecracker ban, thousands of functional garbage bins.... are only few of the many local-government sponsored projects without any external help from the national government... now tell me which Philippine City enjoys the privileges that we have?

  • @russelg000 you are zeroing the punching of the sheriff? how about the severely wounded policeman and people who were injured due to the insurgent violence that occured. Aren't you concerned about the human rights of these individuals? If it was just a Juan dela Cruz who was punched will the reaction of society be the same?

  • It's not fear but built by more than 20 years of respect. Dutertes are authoritative but they can deliver. They are criticized but loved by their people. They appear dirty but sure have a heart. Davao is known to be a big killing field 30 years ago but now it is the safest place in the whole country. It has an excellent traffic system, a strong police force, good emergency response, an ingenious waste-to-energy facility, well-maintained streets and strong law enforcement. Thanks to the Dutertes.

  • Just or unjust? It's uncertain. The only political principle: Government of the people, by the people, for the people. The rest is just for showing off. Period.

  • is that a Mayor? shame.

  • @BladeDragonoid Actually, that's the best thing ever. Its a fuck you for Philippines capitalistic system.

  • so duterte thinks that it was right?

sheriff was just doing his job,

Duterte was more like Marcos, dictatorship

  • wtf! she had to do it in public? show off

  • grbi sapol :D

  • you go girl!!

  • @reddphoenix16 And you are very smart.

  • this is democracy Libya wants to become. This is a country needs a civil war not Libya.

  • @mitsubishidiamante actually inday sara specifically said to wait for her before the sheriff does anything so any type of commotion can be avoided and then the sheriff didn't wait for her thus causing a ruckus to happen and that's why inday sara was so mad that she punched him

  • @mamiKalways

she still has no right to punch someone at the face that show total ignorance. you never know kaya nya lang ginawa yan para maganda sya sa mata ng mga tao, so that way she could get some vote on next election..

    POLITICS IS A DIRTY GAME

  • THUMBS UP FOR MAYOR!! ganyan sana mga mayor sa lahat pinag lalaban ang mga kababayan !

  • bilang constituents sa isang bansang demokrasya ay we are free to give our personal OPINION on a particular issue but we are not entitled to JUDGE because its the job of our COURTS where judgement is just and fair by hearing both sides. WE ARE NOT QUALIFIED TO GIVE VERDICT BECAUSE OUR JUDGEMENT IS ONE SIDED AND BIASED...illogical masyado iba rito

  • mga brod en sis from davao...kakatuwa naman kayong pakinggan e kayo kayo nag titirahan wla akong nakitang unity in your midst..at kitang kita rin sa kamera your repeated violation on debating rules..i suggest you read the book "the art of debate" sabi doon, frequent personal attacks on your debating counterpart is a sign of INTELLECTUAL BANCRUPTCY

  • When the Champion emerged as a victor and peace was restored, the Champion never gave up his power. Years passed, this Champion lived to see himself being the people's scourge. It's either you die a hero or you live long enough to be the villain. That Champion was, in the history books, is better-known as Julius Caesar. Power is a dangerous thing. It fades to those who never earned it.

  • Obviously, the guy who responded to my rhetorical comment took such the other way around. Lack or absence of knowledge is indeed dangerous. I admire what Mayor Duterte did. Being the people's champion to defend their unspoken rights. What she did was justice with force. Reminds me of Rome back in the day. When the state is compromised during invasion, they nominated a champion to defend their rights, lives and properties. Gave him all the power in exercising his duties.

  • friech123"Goverment of d people,for d people,it should not be disrespectful of d law.friech'if u can't xplain it to me;why?d sheriff could not wait d 2 hours of request d mayor.now if u can't xplain?u don't understand it well enough!!
