This was filmed in the beginning of July 2006..But it is great weather during May too there. It is about 20-25 celsius (68-77 fahrenheit) degrees or more during May in Benalmadena / Malaga. So you can swim there. The sun is shining all days in May. You must have boxer shorts every day there, otherwise too hot.

The best beaches in the whole of Andalusia is in the Costa De La Luz, Tarifa. The best in the Costa Del Sol is In Alcaidesa Beach, between Sotogrande and Gibraltar. Alcaidesa beach which runs toward Sotogrande is what the Costa Del Sol was like 60 years ago.
