  • why do , people say , " Hey Bear", like the bear really going to understand , the word "bear"...

and stop and think.., " hey their calling to me.." , wonder what they want.dumb ass people..

  • Wow, that brown bear was a little too close for comfort, glad he left ya alone! I always wondered camping in Alaska like u did, is it safer by the rivers edge to set up or more on the main land. I wouldnt sleep well camping where u were just knowing the bears go to to water area to fish. I have camped in Banff, Alberta in prime grizzly country and we always used a portable electric fence around our site. Just made us sleep a lil easier:) Loved your footage!! Hope u had a great time!

The problem along the Alagnak River is there are few places to camp and if the water is high, there are even fewer. Also it is prime bear country, but fortunately the bears aren't "spoiled" and don't associate people with food so it is "safer" than camping in national parks. A portable electric fence is a good idea however, as bears are wild animals and unpredictable...Thanks for the comments.

  • Awesome footage, thx.
