It is amazing how much this band has went to shit in the last 20 years!!I had seen 3 of there concerts..The first in 89"was awesome"and the 2nd in 92 not as good as the last and then 2009..The opening bands kicked there ass!!I did talk to lars breifly after the last "perfomance"and holy shit!!There was alot of ego there!!
The guitar volumes are down compared to the old days .....That rivoting loud guitar fuels the music,and ALSO when you turn the guitars down, you dont have to yell/cream whatever as loud or as hard ..... Which simply gives a less aggressive,more tame overall sound. It simply becomes a rock song is all.
So nice to see James and Dave finally got over their egos.. Only one person missing up there... and im sure his spirit was on that stage... RIP Cliff Burton.

This is the guy that road you to the bus station in his truck and dropped you off after being kicked out of Metallica to travel all the way across the country. Wow.... I saw the MTV Headbangers in the 90's with Alice in Chains, Anthrax, Slayer, and Megadeth... Fast forward 20 years.... slight regret, never seeing Metallica live... larger regret, not seeing RUSH live.

Since you don't get the point of my question I'll break it down to Barney level for you: Am I (me) the only one (person) who noticed that the songs played by all the bands(Anthrax, Megadeth, Slayer (rarely) and Metallica during these shows) are songs that Metallica recorded (wrote or not)? There is nothing showing them playing a Megadeth, Slayer or Anthrax song.

Very cool of James to seek out Dave & put him at center between he & Kirk. Also to see the fist pound between James & Dave. Just imagine that recognition for Dave for a moment. This is the guy that road you to the bus station in his truck and dropped you off after being kicked out of Metallica to travel all the way across the country. Had to have been a shining moment for Dave and I feel very happy for him. Profound moment in personal relations. Thank you to whom made these shows happen.

It's funny though, I still see alot of Contempt in the eyes of both Bands. (BTW) I predicted in 1992 that OZZY would take the Stage again with Black Sabbath ! ..(which happened in 1999).
