but i see no harm in making a sport like this to make it a competition. the actual problem is that many competitors dont have the traditonal karate bases and have unproper atitudes.
still, the sport is just a way to have some fun...
I'm in Karate for almost whole my life and I would never say that something is better than something else. Everything depends on you and how much serious you're training. Each style is unique and the rest depends on us. You're wrong. I trained Shotokan, Kyokushinkai and Judo. I also had some trainings with my friends who are in Taekwondo. I don't see which style is the best, but I can see who trained hard to have the best results. OSS.
good reply,was going to type that myself.however,a friend of mine used to be a riot policeman and he said the best defence is a gyaku zuki right to the solar plexus,stops them in their tracks and wont get you taken court like breaking someones jaw will.
i dont know i think that the speed in defence to stop points being scored you need good footwork and need to think on your feet id say they were tranferable
Usually Police officers are enough effective on the streets. Much better than everything else. Normal people don't need to fight on the streets. If they have to, it's always better to be defensive and be able to run away fast to call the Police. Believe me I know what I'm talking about. It's also good to have monitoring via cameras in the city to see the situation on the streets to prevent any acts of violence and to send Police patrols right into the proper place.
