  • i like it... sounds HoT

  • how the fuck does he sound american?

  • People, buy their album its awesome! Their beats are old school, fresh and pack a punch. Refreshing to all the lame aussie hip hop about at the moment.

  • funky fresh

  • omg.. why have i not heard these guys before.. my mind has just been blown

  • Fuckin sick, drop all this gay nig club shit thats out and put this on the stereo. Dudes will flip in the bar when something like this comes on

  • down unda!

  • I will get ripped for this but its good to come across hip hop video where they artist has a smile on his face!

  • I don't understand why everyone argues about nationality. I'm American and Aussie hip hop is probably my favorite genre.

  • love it...dope aussie hip hop track

  • Gino you're a mad c*nt

  • such a solid track. aus represent

  • Metro cunt, aushop yeh yeh theres plenty better than this

  • gotta love aussie hip hop ... its just so different than the rest. respect

  • this got a hell 80's feel to it.. funky as

  • very nice song ! i like it ! peace

  • Dopest fucking hook ever.

  • Fucking love this track!

  • Another good adaptation of Endgames Track "Ecstasy" also used by Heavy D and the Boyz,"Nuttin' But Love", Lil Flip ft Mya "Flippin" and Lenisha "Just Dance" to name a few! great groove!

  • jb hi fi have an aussie hip section. its small but at least the stock some top aussie stuff

  • saw hime live before funkoars and ash grunwald amazing gig

  • Debonair is ridiculous on the beats

  • @PTizzleAusGN word

  • All I said "GOOD"

  • No yi don't - I have it

  • Top track.

  • Where can you buy There Album???

  • jb hi fi or hip hop stores like rehab records

  • nice

  • The melody is a sample of "Endgames-Ecstacy" . Paisleys finest. I own the keyboard it was probably played on, a Korg Poly800. It still has "David Murdoch" written on the end of it in black ink marker.

  • FFFrehhhhhhh

  • 'stand tall in the city of melbourne like eureka, sounds real nice when its comin' through your speaker'

    m-town represent.

  • Whoooooop!

Sweet as old school sound squire!

  • very nice. i like

  • i knew i heard this sample before ...i got nuthin but love for babe.. heavy D

  • love that they play aussie hip hop on triple j (L) (L)

  • Awesome song, could easily go mainstream because of its modern, more electronic sound than the generic Aus hip-hop tracks which could attract more fans.

    Props to Low Budjet :)

  • this ain't a modern... its old skool as bro

  • Yeah I agree - it's reeeal old skool. Check out their influences on their myspace page. Sounds so refreshing compared to the crappy aussie hiphop that's dominating at the moment.. besides muph n plutonic lab

  • check out Endgames - Ecstacy... some real old school funk...

big ups to muph n pluto...

yeah im not a big fan off bliss n eso and hilltop hoods and even phrase these days... im sure there nice blokes n all just aint feeling their sound... dont get me wrong hilltop were dope back in the day...

who else do u listen to man... do like hip hop as a whole or r u one of those guys that only like aus hip hop because its australian

  • im still big on the hoods, tho i didnt really dig The Hard Road.

In my opinion, BnE only had one mediocre album, Day of the Dog... everything else was fire. Peep the Flying Colours album if you havent yet. Technical mastery. And collabs with illmaculate, debaser, n more just adds to it. I think the Sandpeople are trying to make their move in the Aus market, big time.

As for Phrase... dudes got skill, tho i gotta admit, never been big on him. His music is def better than it used to be, however.

  • most defo will suss out Flying colours man.. i never usually touch anything that been on telly... I'd rather stick to diggin in the crates n browsin youtube... check out triple j unearthed... theres so much dope shit on there, but also alot of wack shit so be careful...

    peace

  • word, hey do a search on "Intelekt ft. Hunter & Dyvers - It Wasn't Us" if you wanna hear something a bit different :)

Also, browse through videos i've favourited, im sure you know allot of the stuff there, but im also sure you'll come across a few bits n pieces you really like.

  • less modern, more 80s retro... tho i gotta admit, that 80s sound is pretty popular at the moment.

  • mos defo

  • definitely got that 80s retro sound but its dam catchy

  • yeah, unfortunately allot of people dont take the style seriously, its well worth the listen though.

  • killer track an sic clip

  • hip hop isnt about the 4 elements, it just has the 4 elements. Wud b boring if everyone rapped about the same shit.... no one can determin what type of content hip hop should have. USA has as much dope shit as Aus, statements like "American hip hop isnt real anymore" stems from miseducation. I could meantion allot of dope current US crews and emcees, you cant find them means your looking in the wrong place. peace

  • I concur...

    nuff said my man..

    pce.

  • sure knows whatsup.

    peace.

  • American "hip hop" is not real anymore. Gangster rap and r'n'b does not fall into the catagory of hip hop. Hip hop is a culture with 4 outlets which is bboy, graff, mc and dj. America has nearly lost all its roots with original hip hop.

  • your not diggin deep enough man...

    check out

    heltah skeltah

    slaughterhouse

    La coka Nostra

  • i love this track i got this old breaks record these guys put out a few years ago didnt even know who they were, just saw their name on the label, and then they come out wit this mad shit props!

  • really nice production and cool film clip

    well done dudes

  • fuck up you stupid khunts. this shit is real aussie hiphop. gotta love triple j

  • 123 i am the mc,rap cat mat...yawn

  • great song!

    and nice video!!

    aus hiphop is king!

    forget american hiphop

    thats all polytonic tones

    this is real hiphop

    music with BASS!

    =]

  • Im pretty sure hip-hop started in America, so dont be runnin your mouth.

There would be NO hip hop if America didn't discover it.

Polyphonic* ( I believe thats what you're talking about) just means the amount of notes in a piece of music. ABSOUTELY no relevance to skillz.

And about that last bass comment; how the fuck can you compare two countries hip-hop, with their bass content?

How can people be soo nescient.

(you're gonna have to look that one up bud.)

    Have a good one

  • I do believe that Aussie hiphop can be King without starting it. And in case you haven't noticed, there's a particularly large gap between Australian Hiphop and American Hiphop.

But of course, if the Americans didn't invent it, then it wouldn't exist, right? That is what you're insinuating. Which hardly makes any sense. American's didn't invent pasta, yet I still eat that on a weekly basis...Oh, and I'm wearing clothes right now, but that doesn't make sense, because America didn't invent that.

  • Sorry, I almost forgot to bow down to you and your American heritage. My bad.

And nescient? Where did you learn that one? Let me guess, the thesaurus on Word? Damn, you really are superior.

  • this songs sick, shut the fuck you dicks that dont know aussie hip hop..if u dont dig it dont watch..you simple cunts.

  • these lads are tight!

    keep it up

  • Saw these guys at Rosemount hotel in Perth - flows were tight as were the cuts. Much respect!!!!!!!

  • righto i dont mind these guys and im a dedicated metal fan, so that says something.. i basically like anything that everyone else hates.

  • no wonder you like it then. so many ppl hate aus hiphop

  • i dont mind hip hop, i just hate faggots who go around calling everyone lads and using all that nigger slang..

  • ayo we so deluxe u aint catch us in a tux just a hoody n some laced up sneakers....

  • Love these type of vids, very easy on the eyes!

    P.s Sick sounds.

  • whoever thinks this guy sounds American is a fwit, and its a fucking insult. ppl on here even comparing him to eminem... clean ur fuckin ears out. these guys have superb flow, top lyrics, and do not sound like anything from the US.

  • well said!!!

  • @Klistern2 Spot on. Ignore the haters.

  • @Klistern2 word thats just fing ridiculous ......

  • @Klistern2

agreed, im in the US btw.

Aussie hip hop destroys american shit as far as new artists go. Dope beats, interesting lyrics, aussie music scene doesnt seem to be run by a bunch of money hungry jews either.

  • @Klistern2 sounds american Lol jk aussie

  • @Fitbike18 I'm looking on tube nice aussie beats.Tell some except Pure Product Optimen.I'm Romanian.

  • @jasgrip hilltop hoods, bliss n eso try them

  • @Fitbike18 Thanks a lot man !

  • @Klistern2 respect

  • @Klistern2 I agree with almost everything you said, eminem is one of the two decent american rappers. Not that his music is anything like this, they're two different genres but if it was Lil Wayne or one of the other dime for a dozen shit rappers you were putting down i'd agree with you.

  • @0xsergy one of the TWO? wise up

  • @unclegusyo Yes one of the two. Eminem and the CunninLynguists. I'm not sure if Deltron 3030 is american but if he is then him too. The rest are crap. Lil wayne, dogg, etc all cant write shit. All i hear from them is shit about how much money they have and how big they like their asses. CRAP.

  • @0xsergy there are two rappers in the cunninlynguists, del is american. go and listen to some organized konfusion or some nas or something and inform yourself because you are RIDICULOUSLY ignorant.

  • @unclegusyo It's called an opinion. Maybe go google it instead of screaming at me.

  • @0xsergy nah it's straight ignorance

  • @unclegusyo No its an opinion. I just don't like american rappers very much. You don't like it, too bad.

  • @0xsergy nah you're a moron basically. not my problem you're missing out on hundreds of hours of amazing music...

  • @unclegusyo Ah so I'm a moron because rap and hip hop is not my favorite type of music? I mainly listen to melodic death metal and a bit of hip hop and I'm fine with that. Gee, never realized I was an idiot just because I don't like the same music as you do, may as well throw myself off a bridge now.

  • @0xsergy gawn fuck off and stop replying mongo

  • they were dope at splendour!

  • mad flow, sounds fresh

  • good shit :P

  • What the fuck would you know? Did you get original from the song?"...for those that don't have a clue"

    Good track fellas!

  • mate, it's not original. Great tune, but they have taken the backbeat from the song Ecstasy by Endgames

  • where did the lyrics come from? Endgames? Original.

  • yeh thats true. i'm just saying i don't think it would be as effective without the backbeat, and they didnt create it. the lyrics are obviously theirs though, and they are good

  • Some of the dopest hiphop tracks ever made have been straight jacks!

  • Comment removed

  • "Give back what was given to us, were low budget, but youll still make a sanwiche if ya given the crust." NICE.

  • Give mad props to those who have some awsome rhymes and can make em flow.

  • max respect, great sampling/mixin/rhymes

  • Mad song guys - keep up the good work!

  • Somebody always asks who the sample is from? here is tha answer

The band that the sample or whole track was taken from was Glasgow based electronic geniuses ENDGAMES a.k.a G42!!

ENDGAMES are still recording and have a myspace as do G42, doing Productions, collaborations and re-mixes etc for acts like Lil Flip.Game,M&M & 50.

Oh and the song was called ECSTASY (Instrumental) or Centurion Mix I think?

Heavy D and the boyz, Lil Flip ft Mya, Lenisha and now Low Budget! have used this classic groove.

  • love this beat

  • yeah its gold

  • I love this shit!! Much respect to Low Budget... love the real 80's Beat street feel. Good Work Boys

  • nice beat!

  • Endgames - Ecstasy

  • YOU GOT IT, EG

  • cool!
