They totally traced the same footage used to animate the Josie and the Pussycats opening sequence! I recognize Valerie on tambourine and Josie on guitar.
FYI, this song is borrowed from one of the exciting chase scenes that appeared in the second season of Scooby Doo, Where Are You! And I thought Tabitha and Adam were a little younger than these two non clown people!
This is the same version from the Scooby-Doo episode. One good thing is that there are no annoying sound effects. Someone has done that with the chase scene songs on Josie and the Pussycats, minus the annoying effects. Thanks.
Actually, Tabitha and Adam don't appear in this clip. The Clown Family are cousins of Tabitha and Adam, and the two older Clown kids are acrobats in the circus.
Awesome! This same song was originally on the chase scene of the last "Scooby Doo, Where Are You" episode. Do you have some clip from "The Adventures of Robin Hoodnik", also seen on "The Saturday Superstar Movie"??? If you do, can you upload it???
@MelodyThePussycat Actually, the last Scooby Doo, Where Are You? episode that aired was Don't Fool With a Phantom. The chase scene song was Pretty Mary Sunlight.
I would absolutely love to see the whole episode. Thanks for this clip! :)

If I remember correctly, the Clown family's mother is Darren Steven's sister, which make Tabitha and Adam their cousins.

I didn't know this existed. Is there any episodes of the cartoon?

No other episodes. This was intended to be one of many pilots pitched for Saturday Mornings back then.
Very good copy. :)

Just like Pebbles & Bamm-Bamm, Tabitha & Adam are teenagers. And Adam's a Southpaw guitarist.

My apologies. Since this aired @ NOON (11:00 CST), KTRK in Houston didn't have the 2nd season of the Saturday Superstar Movie.
But I wouldn't want to have a rock band playing instruments while bouncing on a trampoline!
