Men nu finns det där, och avnjuta, dess härliga ton och klang

Listen to his version on the Haydn trumpet Concerto and you will have my opinion too !

@dom43G You may not compare this guy neither sound or flat notes. This guy play with original instruments. Thats a truly challenge. Maurice André is from other planet.

He is very skilled, and he certainly is brave, but I wouldn't call him the best ever. There's a reason why we don't play those anymore.

WOW! Dunno if anyone has shown such control of the keyed trumpet since Anton Weidinger! Even he might not have been that good. David sure does not shy away from a challenge. Congratulations.

Great playing. That is an extremely difficult instrument to manage. I think some of the cracks can be attributed to water in the horn that he couldn't get out (been there...). Terrific control.

I agree!! we need that excellent Tomasi video! I was there when he played that! It was the best Tomasi I have ever heard!!!!
