  • the way i see it after the world war, most of europe was devastated. from the ashes of the confrontation a real respect grew. Not a respect for war and death but for peace and stability. the eu has helped with this, a united europe would be far more efficient, the energy and the knowledge that the individual nations have would be enhanced by closer cooperation.we tend to play down our achievements, but we should be proud at what our continent has done and what we strive to do in the future

  • This is how European institutions spend hundreds of millions of euros each year on what they call 'communication', but anyone with a freedom-loving spirit and a brain, would recognise it as pro-EU, anti-national propaganda.

That being said, I just might fav this vid, but only because I dig the Aboriginal Australian band music.

  • I support a Slavic Union, not the European Union.

  • @KDavidoff are you slavic? if so then why do you choose to live in germany. which the last time i checked a member of the eu

  • I had no idea we owed so much to the European Union! Wow! It's so frightfully decent of the EU to give us all those rights we never knew we had, in fact we even get to vote over and over again, if we give the wrong answer -- how brilliant is that?

But seriously, it really shows how they operate, through ideologically-driven sinister propaganda and fear.

What is a "gaurantee" that our countries will be democratic' at about the 2:40 point? Better open your eyes...before you wreck yourself.

  • i dont really agree with the eu like they find britian 150mil for not flying the eu flag :S

  • I lived in USA for 12 years and i just came back to EU 3 months ago and i must truly say that i am very disappointed. I thought the Americans were unbelievable. Honestly i wanna go back to USA. People in EU are so pissed off, anal, irritated, rude,... i can hardly believe my own self that i came from the same place.

  • @Ometopada go back then, it is simple. you say we are anal it i assume you mean anally retentive, which comes from the theory that in the eu we use to gain thrills from holding shit in. where as the anally expulsive americans is the way to go, those who gain thrills from shitting everywhere. life is not hard, just many little decisions you make throughout your existence, i will help you by making this one for you, you dont like it here, go back and stay this time

  • @geordieracer222 I see that you got offended cause I was just pointing out the facts and i do understand that the truth hurts you. Europeans are rude, impatient, arrogant, too proud, ignorant, easily offended (even by a compliment). I experience it every day at my job, grocery store, bars, restaurants. So because of those few and more reasons Europe will never be united in one like USA. And i don`t need your arrogant ass to help me in my decisions cause you can`t even help your own arrogant self.

  • @Ometopada you say you're pointing out fact, dumb shit you are expressing your opinions, your opinions are worth shit. you like you come on here and plagurise the conspiracy theories of others such as alex jones without looking into what they're saying you move from on doctrine of believe to another. that is the different idiots like you take the information given to you as gospel and dont research for yourself.hahaha you're doing your bit to show how not to be rude and arrogant, you're a joke

  • @geordieracer222 O.K. so you still don`t know what you`re talking about. Maybe you should`t be telling people to leave any place and go back where they came from no matter the circumstances. If you must know, I am an proud American now cause Europe "disowned" me from any citizenships cause it felt like it. Now i`m in EU by MY choice. So whatever you said repeat that to yourself instead. Cause you`re actually talking to yourself if you haven`t noticed... I`m wasting my time on you. Goodbye

  • @Ometopada learn how to construct a sentence before you right a comment on here, because reading what you have written on here is confusing. i didnt tell you to go back where you came from, i said if you prefer it in america go. firstly, you say your american, then you said europe disowned you, and then you say you are in the eu now.get a life and think before you type because it just makes the world aware that you are ignorant.

  • @geordieracer222 And just because you heard some bad news on your SKY network about a few bad American politicians you now assume that all Americans are that way. Well i can tell that you`re just some immature kid lacking O2 and who thinks he`s got the world by it`s balls cause you got the fucking queen. Well fuck that old rag! You really think that your royal family is sooo righteous? Maybe you should go through history books and see who has been anally expulsive throughout the world history.

  • @Ometopada there was'nt anything arrogant in what i was saying, you think europe is so bad, then fuck off. i dont know where you get the idea that i am a monarchist from my comment i see no use in the royal family, but that is beside the point. also at what point did i mention american politicians you dumb shit. read what i wrote before you comment and you might grasp what it was i was saying. if you think europeans are any more arrogant or rude than americans you're as stupid as you sound.

  • @Ometopada you believe i think we have the world by the balls because of the queen, shows you how much you know, the queen has no political power whatsoever. i can tell you one thing though british news at least reports the news instead of giving a biased view of current affairs like fucking fox news. if you want to live in a country that believes in their imaginary friends go fuck off make there we dont want you in europe. p.s its just a matter of time before europe unites live with it

  • Say no to criminals in the european parliament! Amend the act of 1976 concerning the elections of MEPs

  • La Unión Europea es el espacio de Libertad más grande del Mundo.

Tiene que mejorar pero sin duda, este es un GRAN proyecto que hace al mundo mejor.

ah, and one thing more...I LOVE THIS VIDEO

SALUDOS DESDE ESPAÑA Y VIVA EUROPA!

  • Thank you :)

  • NO for Turkey in the EU. Never! Kurdistan should not be in the EU, and the EU should not border Iraq!!!

  • If we let Russia in one day, we'll be bordering China and the northern half of all of Asia. That shouldnt stop us from accepting countries within Europe. After all, the same argument can be used for Spain, Malta, Cyprus etc .. all of which "Border" Africa and the Middle East already.

  • greetings from eu! and turkey never will be member of the union.

  • Our Nation

    Long live EU

    Fantastic videoo

    You are hard-working

    Your deed is timeless

    Greeting for U

  • Totally agree, but finding music is the hardest bit, with Youtube cracking down so much [courtesy of the music industry].

  • I loved the video... but the music was all wrong.... that could be great, with effective music!

  • George Washington was once a Virginian. Only later did he become an American. We need to learn from the example set forth by the Fouding Fathers of the great nation of America.

We are German, French, Maltese, Austrian, Letzenbuergisch, Bulgarian, Czech, Slovak, Hungarian, Romanian, and then, European. We need to learn to be European first, and only then, citizens of our states.

Maye God bless our new nation so that it may be brought forth and endure. Long live the EU!

  • We'll never be a european people - we don't like each other for a start! No problem there, each to their own and all that, but the EU needs to go back to what it was - a trading bloc. The lack of democracy in the EU is absurd and if the old USSR had imposed half the conditions on it's people that the EU does the human rights brigade would be up in arms. Give us our nations back and forget all this nonsense of a 'president', foreign minister and embassies.

  • @Sover99 We cannot go back to where we were. It's impossible to survive as individual states, and the previous history should have taught you that (or at least the tens of millions of dead in the two world wars, not to mention the napoleonic wars, the russian wars, the balkan wars...)

We are doomed to fail as nations in this changing world. We will perish, and dissappear, swallowed by the powers that understood what you do not. China, Rusia, USA, Brazil, Mexico, they will rule us if we don't.

  • larga vida a la Unión Europea!

    Viva Europa!

  • @empyrionin

Difference between the Americans and the Europeans: the people were asked if they wanted it.

  • @mischnix Wrong mischnix. If you're American, you know how long it took for the Founding Fathers to even convince REPRESENTATIVES of the states they need to CONFEDERATE, let alone federate. The United States was on the verge of not being born. It was a mighty and lengthy clash of ideas. In the end, the opinion of some states who did not want to unite, was ignored. For the greater good. So is our case. And if you're not American, then you know your elected people agreed to create the EU.

  • @empyrionin

In Europe, whenever people get the few chances to have a referendum, they often vote NO to further integration.

I am a Swiss living in Germany. The Swiss voted to not be part of the EU. The Germans never had a right to a referendum, all our important parties are pro-EU, votes for small parties don't count. No real choice. Some of the EU "integration process" was coerced. The French etc. forced German chancellor Helmut Kohl to give up the D-Mark to allow Germany to re-unite.

  • @mischnix I find the above statements real. Remember that Germany lost WW2. It is still payin that debt today. I respect the Swiss people and their perennial neutrality. There are few countries in this world in the position to be neutral. However, the rest of Europe is not in the same position. Take a look at what happened with the Euro. It is going to fail -> income will degrade -> Germany will suffer! We need further integration to stop that. And a catalyst.

  • The efforts are pointless at this point. On one side some wish for an "ever closer union", but on the other side, they still wish to be independent. There can be no other way that to go all the way. Our countries need to federate. Only in the unity of the EU can we hope to survive past the struggles brought forth in this new multipolar world. The past is there to teach us not to make the same mistakes again. Unity as one. Unity as the United States of Europe. One country, one people: Europeans.

  • You are more than welcome :)

  • Bosnia is a largely Muslim country - and its joining...

The christian values that are the basis of the European unity are NOT exclusive, but inclusive and about reconciliation, not conflict and division.

That's the old ways of Europe -

  • NO no no... turkey is asia... not european, it will make other countries leave... you get Britain, hollan ect.... or a 3rd world turkey thats your choice... if turkey join im voting UKIP

  • turkey = asia

  • @dudisumo

Turkey=huge mix of european peoples and asiatic peoples.

  • @tommybritain You people do realize that if g.d. Turkey were to join the EU, the EU would border IRAQ??? I mean come on!

  • @tommybritain i agree turkey is asia minor, if turkey are allowed in then israel will be entitled and if israel is entitled so are lebanon, syria, jordan etc. where would it stop.

  • SEBIA?!?!?!!? sry, but if we want to have the EU as one country, countries will have to carry the poor ones... sorry but I don't want serbia in for the money... From what i see Serbia is an extremly poor country and doesn't fit into European life... You GDP per capita is less then South Africa's, this is awful... Poor countries will just weigh us down, surely?

  • One of the main aims of the European Union is to make all of Europe's countries "rich". Yes, some are poor, but being in the EU will give them access to markets and also assistance to develop and evolve. If the criteria was "only rich countries could join", then the UK itself would not have qualified at the time.

  • meh.... btw im also again Turkey joining... it's muslim and is in Asia... i hope they dont join -.-

  • @EuropeanUnionRules

So if you put rich and poor countries together in a pot and mix it, the effect is that they all become rich? That's what the Germans were told before their reunion. Mix warm + cold liquids, the result will not be hot.

  • @mischnix Using your analogy, yes thats true. Mix hot water with cold water, and you get warm water. But then .. what would you prefer, one foot in cold water and the other in hot water, or both in warm water? Also bare in mind, even the "rich" countries are not uniformally "rich". They have their rich areas and their poor areas. By attempting to bring the member states to the same level, it solves a lot of problems.

  • @EuropeanUnionRules

I'm not saying I am against helping other economies improve. I just don't see the point in chaining very different economies together, or giving each a one-size-fits-all currency.

  • @tommybritain It is the more pro-Europe than the UK is. Go and read Serbia's constitution and its associate agreement - as well as the commission's reports on its progress.

Serbia should have had its assession treaty at least last year.

  • I am European and proud of it.

    Long live the European Union

  • Cant wait to have you join :)

  • Beautiful, just beautiful!

  • Nice vid 5*.

  • Thanks for your support everyone. Really appreciate it.

  • Nice video

    5*****

Greeting from our futur USE* ^^

*The "United States of Europe", our alone possible future if we want continued to exist

  • greetings from eu.

  • Yes - end the death penalty, end offensive wars and violations of human rights. Spread social democracy and social market economy across the world - including the US. !

Promote respect for the rights of all people!

  • @EUamerican

    1) Democracy is a fundamentally unsustainable form of government. It leads to oligarchy.

    2) The "social market" is what caused the last economic meltdown because the US central bank and government forced banks to lend to risky people, made cheap credit easily available and said to banks "hey, don't worry, if things go wrong we'll just bail you out." All was done in the name of helping the poor get a home.

  • Very nice!

  • Well done!

  • NICE VIDEO ....GOOD JOB ...GO ON

  • I applaud your worthwhile effort, this successful video. It is SUPERB throughout! I regret that the highest honor I can award it is merely 5 ***** as it deserves many more!

On the oter hand, I feel compelled to add that I belileve there are a number of members of the EU who have not paid for their crimes of the past and whom I feel ought to be at least "suspended" from EU membership until they have fully recompensed certain fellow EU members for valid claims of losses and damages.

  • Upon receipt of inqiry or comment, I can elaborate for those who are interested.

  • If you like the video, please favourite it .. or better still ... add it to your channel as the featured video. Thanks :)

A second video is coming shortly ;)

  • go Union

  • Nice vid, my desire is to be British, NOT EUropean.

    I'm a European not a EUropean!

  • Thanks Boghead :) I understand your comment .. so rate it? :)

  • @EuropeanUnionRules I have :P lol

  • Very good job :)
