The sox dont have that great of a leadoff hitter. Hes not that big of an upgrade over pods. Hes have an average arm and above average LF. Their best pitcher possibly in peavy is prone to the DL. Wake up everyone. This team needs to get REALLY lucky this year.

man 2009 was pretty dissapointing but i sure hope Rios can help out next year, Dye will probably be gone, and im sure the sox will finish adove 500 in 2010,and everyone who is saying its Ozzie's fault its not Williams and Ozzie are great in management, they just need better starting pitching and more hitting

He's done an amazing job since he joined the club in 04....what other manger in the city of chicago has brought you a title in the last 80 year...(assuming you are a sox fan)...Ozzy is doing what he can with what he has with this year's ballclub, you don't think he wants to bring back "smart ball"? Of course he does, but with the players we have, we really can't do that...Wait till the end of the season then decide!

What a montage! A similar montage of 2005 was shown it in the '05 world series. This video is very moving! Last year had to be in my opinion the toughest regular season for the sox to make it to the post season! Every game counted! I mean how did they manage to win 3 games with 3 different teams and make it at the cut of their teeth! It was a total team effort and no one gave the Sox a chance to be Central Divsion Champs of '08! Now they say the same thing in '09...how bout we do it again?!

When I saw this video for the first time at the Blackout Game against Minnesota for the Division Championship, I'm not going to lie, it really put me to tears. It has a fantastic representation of the never say die mentality. Everything leading up to that one moment.

This season was as special to me, if not more so, than 2005 was. That 05 team was ridiculously talented, and I really wasn't shocked when they won it all. This team, though, was an underdog all year long and they came through when it mattered and fought their balls off every day.
