Heh, I remember playing this as my first Megaman game. I guessed ALL the bosses names in the teleport room CORRECTLY except for Hard man. I thought he was Knuckle man, or something. After finding out his name was Hard man, I was thinking "....what the..?"
Well...in all honesty, the MagnetMissle is doing what a magnet would do. Going to the closest metal thing it can find. Of course...that means Mega's not metal (explains the spike OHKO)

Why to people insist that the spikes shouldn't logically be capable of penetrating metal?
The simple solution is that the spikes are made of a metal harder than the one MegaMan is made of.
