This is natural, even jupiter and earth give off these kinds of sounds, if you turn your radio to a certain AM channel, you can listen to jupiter, and exactly every hour you can hear something very strange from it
@TL3C7Y That is correct; the radiation when translated into sound frequencies are a lot like this. If you want to hear aliens listen to EARTH! We are SUPER noisy!!!
I like how people say there is no way it can be speech because of the nature of speech as if everything in space is dictated by our definitions here on earth
You can record a fart and if you modify the audio signal enough I daresay you can obtain "speech" noise. Does this mean that aliens live in our stomachs?
The closest we've come to communicating with aliens was the WOW signal a few decades back, nothing conclusive since.
there is no way it is alien SPEECH. it is sound of meteoroid or something similar traveling in the space. the logic behind my comment is this:
nature of speach is thrz always a sharp drop and intervals but this one starts slowly and fades away slowly, it is very constant..which cannot be speach. highgly developed species can never have horribly under developed speech like pigs and dogs. speech plays big big role in development of species.
@devilzOwwn Well, I'm not sure what this sound is, but I do believe your reasoning is flawed.
We communicate the way we do, based on how our ears, vocal boxes, and brains interpret soundwaves. We also have normal "tones" of speech, for how we discuss certain subjects. These tones vary from country to country to an extent. Now, that logic cannot be applied to aliens, because that is something that applies to us, and our anatomy. Who knows what they use to communicate, or how with certainty?
@devilzOwwn Nobody really does. Aliens, depending on what type of planet they will come from, will have evolved physically to survive in their specific planet and hence, as a product of that evolution will communicate accordingly, in whatever dialect and tone their species uses to communicate verbally.. We have evolved to suit our planet, and communicate on our planet, its a totally different ball game with alien species - we gotta start with a TOTALLY clean slate.
@vvbn7890 your argument is pretty strong my frnd but I still think that SPEECH plays very important role in communication and cant be blur. may b they have developed it according to their planet but I think We are part of the same universe and same nature rules that apply to us should apply to most of the universe-law of nature. but mayb im just thinkin inside the box.. good argument though. I still believe its sound of meteoroid or similar.
@devilzOwwn Yeah more than likely just a rock floating along up there...Hopefully in our lifetimes we'll be able to know for sure what aliens do sound like :P That is only if they are friendly...Otherwise I would rather it not be in my life time haha
@devilzOwwn Just to put a big hole in your theory the source of this sample is not audio in itself but a radio signal which has been converted into audio. That radio audio was dropped by four octaves to bring it into our human hearing range even before it was released onto the NASA website. And now in this video it has been slowed down (why?!) and the pitch modified further (again why?!) so gradually data is being lost and modified beyond use. This is just destroyed audio data basically.
@GrumpyGrebo well it further goes to show that audio is manipulated and doesnt sound what actually it is..so it is just a sample of sound modified/ altered by human made software so that it is in our realm.. so it is just noise.. nothing else...
@devilzOwwn No; sound that we hear through our ears is real, just radio not so much... although this can usually be converted to audio from radio and vice versa without any massive loss of quality. On the NASA website where the "original" sample was obtained, the scientists responsible for discovering this so-called audio stated that they had to reduce the frequency of the converted radio noise, by at least four octaves so as to place it into our audible hearing range. This audio therefore fake.
@GrumpyGrebo I hate to discredit you but if you knew anything about audio engineering you'd have used the word, "modified" in place of "fake" Merely transposing a set of frequencies down to our audible level is the equivalent of playing a record with a speed of 78rpm at 33rpm, regardless of the transposition you're going to hear the exact same audio signal in its entirety as a whole.
@HouseFood Yes but it will sound different when given a human perception which is what HEARING is, and paraded as "alien speech" it is clearly fake, unreal, fraudulent, an imposter. And you don't hate to discredit me or you would've not reacted at all.
@GrumpyGrebo yes this audio is fake just as much as this computer i'm seeing is.. what is real and not real? our brain is in complete darkness yet we have audio and video reception that we interpret as real. is green green? or am i the only one that sees green as green.
@kumathebulldog Green is green yes that one can be proven. But now you raise an interesting point... interesting but unrelated to this argument. YOu sound like you are digging at the holographic universe theory which is a bloody good one.
i heard a singan that sounts like an alien maeesege for yester day! the said they will not make any bad things withe the earth and human. i for got to film that. sorry for the bad english. i speak swidish
I think I know what it is... I think nasa does too......I think they cut out the good part
I think....Dun dun duhhh! it's a beep map. Its a picture. the three long peaks would suggest that this part is some sort of color scale from black to white or though the spectrum to white. if you don't know what a beep map is, well I use fruity loop studio, and...I knew this all along but playing today I checking instuments and poped up beepmap. you load a pic and it plays it in the sound
i do alot of mixing for my friends band and i decided to have a go at some of these files i downloaded from the website bout a year or 2 ago. if you have audicty 1.3, the best feature is the "noise removal" get alot of that static out, after changing the pitch and at 80% speed you can already make out "voices"
If you listen to it long enough it starts to sound like someones been messing with the audio from the start of the 2001 when the apes first see the monolith. lol
in random static, if you slow it or reverse it or single out one part or whatever theres bound to be some sort or "voice" but the chances of an alien race sending radio comunications across the galaxy is unlikely
wow, this one is really creepy, I haven't heard it before, heard some of the others, the only problem I have with authenticity is that if this was a real artificial signal, wouldn't the ETs have to be broadcasting radio waves for Cassini to pick it up? I would think they would be using a far more advanced communication medium... Please correct me if I'm wrong ,Just a thought.. I do believe in ETs btw...
yeah now whats funny, if u went the website of the people who orignally record this (or go to nasa's site they have a link) theres 2 other recordings that are more eriee then this one.
Has anyone heard of Saturn's moon Iapetus? It has some odd features on it which almost seem artificial. Between these sounds, Iapetus, and also Titan, Saturn seems like a very interesting place.
when i first heard the sounds i though of images in spectrogram immediately, i get those 3 pins up like you, but i guess there is nothing to see there ... btw, these sounds are giving me nightmares
it is so amazing. if you pay close attention from 1:50 to 2:50 you can clearly hear what souns like vocalization, sort of like an opera. the beautigul musical radioactive winds of saturn do not fail to surprise me again.
well the real sound sounds nothin like this. mind that the person who blogged it made it speed up nd en-largened the bass sound. it's ring is magnetic and protects the planet from comets and also protects it from sun bursts. example> when you spin a bag or a rope in the air around circles, it makes a noise. If you fire a gun in space, it sounds like a nuclear explosion hense the weird noise. but mabye life duz exist. but tht noise isnt tht life
gunpowder contains potassium nitrate (KNO3) which provides the oxygen. google the question. if a link comes up for popular science, click it. i find their explanation best.
@LaexProductions yes, you can fire a gun in space. the gunpowder contains KNO3, an oxidizing agent. it provides oxygen to burn the sulfur and carbon. it may fire differently, but it'll still fire.
There are no voices as I demonstrated months ago. You are listening to Saturn's Auroral Kilometric Radiation. Digitally messing with the audio introduces artifacts which pollute the data.
@RoadRunnerLaser Thank you when I first heard the sounds Cassini picked up, yes it sounds strange, although it is exactly as you said... yet it is cool to pick up such errie radiowaves from far off distances, but definantly not aliens :]
... and in the words of Monty Python's Flying Circus - I hope that there's intelligent life somewhere up in space, 'cuz there's bugger-all down here on Earth !!!
(There are far too many gullible nutjobs weighing down the average intelligence of humanity.)
@RoadRunnerLaser yea, same thing with the famous wow! signal in 1977. One would like to believe that this signal came from a advanced civilization but we need to consider that stars, planets, galaxies and what not give off radio signals that like you said get polluted by space debri and all the shit. But i have faith in contacting aliens with radio.
@m1grand70 - I never said "Polluted by space debris". In one of my videos, I shred the claims of a crackpot by pointing out that the digital process to which he's subjected NASA's data has polluted the signal. The effect he's claiming are voices is nothing more than audio pollution from the process he's used to "extract" the voices from the signal.... I then went on to prove it and the crackpot heard "alien voices" in MY video too because I'd used the same process.
nikola tesla discovered intelligent signals comming from space, he figured out that they were intelligent and not the background noise of the universe. look him up, he used specialized pick up antennas which could be considered a differnet em spectrum. i put up videos of his wireless system as well if anyone is interested, a world power system at faster than light speeds
There are programs available that convert images to sound but does anyone know of a way to reverse this process? I keep finding audio spectrum analis tools :(
I'm with you on this one. It's interesting how both God and aliens use such unreliable contact methods. You'd almost think that we're forcing patterns out of random noise...
on a gas planet with ravaging winds totally alien to what we know, without any terrain or obstacles like "houses" to interact with... i dunno. i mean at about 5:00 it gets very calm. who knows, my guess is as good as yours and everyone elses.
You do not need a "house" to get sounds like that of a solar storm for example. Saturn has enough rock material circling it to make such noises. There is such a tremendous power of storms in space... why, I then ask, must it immediately be concluded to be alien speech. The human brain functions on pattern recognition in both sight and hearing, hence easily susceptible to see and hear things that really aren't there or are something completely different.
HEY NO, I WAS QUOTING YOU!! "when a storm rages through your house" it was YOU who used as house as an object of reference in your comment. but whatever. "they" could maybe be speaking in some weird vibration form of a language. IF i'm even correct to say they. i'm not gonna argue with you about who's guess is better..
