@nikkowlbetrollin Your example is awful. Japanese is a language that developed separately from English over the course of more than a 1000 years. Completely different phonology, Alphabet and Grammar. American English has developed over the course of only a couple of hundred years, and in that time frame scant little has changed. It's still English. In fact, apart from slang and colloquial terms, the European English language has changed more.

It is funny that because well in America what we can french fries, the British call them chips as in fish and chips. In the United Kingdoms, what the Britsh called crisps, Americans call them potato chips. The Pringles are called crisps in America but how can the Britsh distinguish actual crisps from what we call crisps?
