Then why aren't the pros using them? Riding the bikes they are on now make the race what it is: damn near impossible. If you had a bunch of guys riding trials bikes, race pace would be considerably slower, and way less difficult because people would be riding them like trials bikes instead of MX bikes.

Trials SKILLS are helpful, but to say that one NEEDS a trials bike for this, I'd say that whoever says so is wrong.

Otherwise they would appreciate the difficulty of riding. Before anyone starts thinking this is easy, try riding in a field of cut wood from a logging road; good luck staying on for more than 4 seconds. These guys riding are ultimate pros and they have trouble! If you get arm-pump just doing a 5 lap outdoor moto, just imagine what this'll do to ya. Hats off to these guys for sure.

@vanrhyndup erm ... do you mean Trail or Trials? If Trials well, its still a race so I wouldn't in a million years say it would make it EASY. Speed anything up enough and you'll have crashes even the super low geared trials bikes. It's a ridiculous track, but that's the point I guess.
