My only complaint is how vigilant you have to be with those unholy loud commercials. The show is very quiet so you have to turn the volume way up, but I can't really enjoy the show because I MUST constantly track the approximate time I think the next ad will pop up & gangrape my poor speakers. I like to watch this shit full screen, but then the status bar goes away unless I move my mouse around--just so I can have some kind of warning a gay ad is coming, it's just total bullshit.

@Seraph825 Spock can feel emotion. His planet sort of "outlawed" emotion, partly do to the fact that Vulcans feel very strong emotions. (like homicidal rage, and other very dangerous emotions). So Vulcans feel that they must control their emotions and think with logic instead. Also, Spock is only Half-Vulcan. So in a way, he does feel emotion and it would be slightly harder for him to control his emotions becuase of his half vulcan side.

To me, adding new special effects sort of defeats the point. Part of watching a "classic" show like TOS is to experience it as a period piece. In essence, you're looking back in time at what television and sci-fi was like back then. I think you get a greater appreciation by viewing it in its original format. I'm glad that I get to watch them the way my mother watched them when she was young.
