Pay close attention to the Piano solo from the original song on Super Metroid. Compare that to the remix on Metroid Prime 2. It's quite obvious that the versions are different, and that this version is a cover of the original song on Super Metroid. This remix could only fit the original version because the notes are tailored to that version. It could not fully fit the MP2 version.

Yes, a version of that song is in that game, but it's a different version, with minor differences in notes. This version of the song is on Super Metroid only.

Lol, there must be alot of Brinstars. This song is the surface song, there's the Brinstar plant level, there's Brinstar Depths, then there's the Brinstar level in Super Smash Bros, which is actually the Mother Brain level.

As I've said I improvise as I go, and I adapt songs to my abilities, so things naturally end up different, and yes, sometimes wrong. :D

I hope you can get (or have gotten) your camera to work! Actually, I'm having some rather terrible times with mine myself.

Hehe, Nice! Yeah, i'm not much of a piano player as far as knowing correct chords or reading music... I just play by ear and improvise, and the result is that I probably have a ton of bad habits.

I will say, this isn't exactly how the brinstar red swamp area goes... the tempo is changed around, and the measures are a bit off. But I like this better than the real thing. :D! This coming from a Metroid music lover. :3

That's fine. The fact that I only play part of the song probably doesn't help. I know abit more of it now, but it won't really shine until I've learned to play melodies with both hands. That means I'll have to develop coordination in my left hand and train my brain to use them both to actually play specific notes at once. You'll notice in the video that I don't do much with my left hand.

I don't know what happened, but it sounds remarkably like a Geiger Counter...
