I don't understand why the shia use self harm (hitting themselves while parading the streets) as a form of worship or repentance. This is a invented practice and is thus shirk. Unless there are hadiths or verses from the Quran which support this. I do understand that the ideaology behind it is for empathy and repentance but Allah gave us other much better and more productive ways to do this in the sunnah and the Quran, an example being fasting during the holy month of Ramadhan.

Profet (sa) had szaid in many occations (also according to books of ahlussuna) that he leaves with us two valuable things "ketabi wa etrati" and in very fews occations had said "ketabi wa sunnati".
If anybody has studied little logic in school would know that being "ketabi" the same in both messages, the two message means nothing else but "etrati" = "sunnati".

I don't understand why the shia use self harm (hitting themselves while parading the streets) as a form of worship or repentance. This is a invented practice and is thus shirk. Unless there are hadiths or verses from the Quran which support this. I do understand that the ideaology behind it is for empathy and repentance but Allah gave us other much better and more productive ways to do this in the sunnah and the Quran, an example being fasting during the holy month of Ramadhan.

Needless to say that Shias don't believe that the holy prophet (PBUH) really said it. You are entitled to your opinion, we are entitled to ours. The holy Quran says "La Ikra Fid-Deen", there is no compulsion in faith. Shias should indeed not curse Umar or other Khalifas and well over 99% of us don't. I have been to hundreds of Shia gatherings in and out of Pakistan, I have never heard any cursing of any of Sunni Khulfa-e-Rashdeen.

Profet (sa) had szaid in many occations (also according to books of ahlussuna) that he leaves with us two valuable things "ketabi wa etrati" and in very fews occations had said "ketabi wa sunnati".
If anybody has studied little logic in school would know that being "ketabi" the same in both messages, the two message means nothing else but "etrati" = "sunnati".

Moses brought only 10 commands from Allah for people who were not able to get more than that. Another prophet was still to come.
Jesus was sent when people were still immature to get the entire verses.
Prophet Mohammad was sent when people were matured enough to get the whole versus. The last messanger.

Ismailis are not Shias. Shias are the Twelvers, they do not believe in our final Imam and they broke off awhile back. They are very closing and only open to themselves. Its a shame they'd get more respect but they bring it on themselves from the commmunity.

Allah did make the decision. He said the one who follows my Ahlul Bayt(The Prophet s.a.w.s., Fatimah Zahra a.s., The 12 Imams a.s.) will be granted Heaven and the ones who dont follow will not be granted the same reward. But a punishment. You dont follow the prophet. You say he isnt infallible. He is the prophet of Allah. Who are you? You say nothing wrong of your Caliphs but you speak wrongly of the Prophet? You follow the caliphs way not the Ahlul Bayt and not of god. This is the way of kufir.
