Also it was only the kathmandu valley where Kiratas were thought to be the first settlers, that however started with the legend of Yalambar, Kirata rule being only from 500BC ish. nepal was only ever united under later peoples most notably the Gorkhalis which was only a few hundred years ago. Before it was many small kingdoms.

It is only generally the case that the NE is Mongoloid. In reality it is only the dominant characteristic which is actually a genetic mix between Indo-Aryans and Tibto-Burman people.
