  • What song is played in the first 13 seconds of the clip? Sounds fantastic :)

  • @margroningen tom petty american girl.

  • Back then women had real hair!

  • The name your looking for here is Mac McAnally! Please give credit where credit is due! He is a GREAT singer and song writer!

  • my last name is livngston :)

  • Speaking of "WKRP", I was shocked when it got the axe after what..3 seasons? Frank Bonner, Loni anderson and "the Big guy" where hysterical. Underrated TV show.

  • At about 1:12 he says "Alright Jimmy, Let's go!"

Yikes! He's that guy on Seinfeld who refers to himself in 3rd person:

    "Jimmy wouldn't like that ... "

    Rock on Jimbo !

  • @spectra707 He says "Alright Timmy, Lets go", he's talking to Tim Kreckle, who played lead on this song, but was cut out and left on the editing room floor, a great local musician from here in Louisville who played with Jimmy

  • @weeble29 you can catch a glimpse of Timmy at 48-50 secs

  • omg he was cute back then! no wonder my dad wouldn't let me go on his boat when i was 16, but i would go now if he asked again, cuz he's still cute and matthew mcconaughey could so play him.

  • @AnnetteDB63 Your dad was wise beyond his years and you are right about matthew being a perfect fit

  • i live in livingston mt :)

  • This song kicks ass. Jimmy needs to make this a staple in his live shows!

  • what a goddamn treat!!!

  • ya know, that's a great idea - McConehey maybe a little too tall though.. Too bad more 1970's-era concert footage of JB doesn't exist. Jim looks like he's wearing eye liner for this gig, but it's a good performance regardless.

  • R I P Kenny Butttrey...Gentleman, Wonderful Father, Husband and Drummer Extraordinaire...

  • Harry Daily on bass. RIP Harry!

  • Matthew McConehey (spelling) should play him in a move about his life

  • awsome movie. & jimmy buffett's best song evar. which is saying alot...

  • Billy Reilly took me to my very 1st Buffett Concert, years and years later when I was working for Keystone in CO. I took off one day and drove up to Livingston MT, Where the song is based on.. I called Billy from Livingston MT..He pooped, I had two custom made Polo Shirts made.. Billy do you still have yours???? Livingston Sat. Night.. see the movie.. Rancho Deluxe

  • Awesome .. the song just describes party time in a nutshell

  • But it was all based from WQXI AM 790 in Atlanta Ga...

  • dude, thanks for posting - probably the only 1970's-era footage of Buffett, video or film, that exists as far as I know...

  • great stuff

  • "All right, Timmy, let's go!", then they cut to the audience. Tim Krekel's big on-screen moment on the cutting room floor. Oh, well, you can still hear his guitar.

  • @lauriespezzano Agreed. Both TK and Fingers Taylor play RIPPIN solos on the record. It's a great great song.

  • Thanks so much for one of my favorite clips! It's nice that this is finally here. :)
