  • Electric violin? T ^T so pretty!! lol

  • bravo

  • Чот смотрю одни Буржуи отписываюца))) Игра вапще я щитаю самая лучшая по своему жанру!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! и музыка подобрана в тему!!!

  • I've fulfil my destiny, I've passed the game. What about you? :)

Uwielbiam te soundtracki, nie słucham mocnych brzmień, ale przy walce z bossami jak ich nie docenić. Ta gra to kawał dobrej roboty, wydaje mi się nawet lepsza niż pierwszy DragonAge :)

  • I have readed all book :D

And in oryginal langue, im from poland and the book is better than film, and the game is soo cool like a book.

  • What really caught me by surprise is that Gerald doesn't really act the same in the books... maybe it's because of his memory loss or something. Although he is usually very reserved and calm in his manner but the similarities end there.... in my opinion of course.

  • THE BEST !

  • I've read The Last Wish and Blood of Elves. Both are the translated copies, and I LOVED both of them. Are you sure the other copies are translated, I've looked in every bookstore but can't find them?

  • @IrishIronArmalite the first 2 are translated the next one is coming out in 2012 late 2011 most likely

  • Your username is Aerie. this makes you awesome.

  • @Xaio30 Thank you! ;D

  • @Aerie93 Aerie is the Aerie of Baldurs Gatre 2 meant by your Username then i like you btw ty for uploading the song from the only game that has a story and game play that comes near to Baldurs gate (kay the witcher 1 almost plays like BG atleast if you use the look down perspektive)

  • @Xaio30 BG i take it?

  • @WillyWallace100 Indeed!

  • @Xaio30 one of my Favorite RPGs.

TW is awesome as well, of course.

  • @Xaio30 Because of Baldurs Gate 2?

  • @Zeruju Of course!

  • я просто без ума, настолько восхитительно!!!

  • So far I've only read The Last Wish, and its the only translated copy I've found. Are there other translated books so far? Last Wish was incredible, but I HAVE to know what happens to Geralt and Yennefer and all the others I've become so enthralled with from playing The Witcher 1 and 2.

  • @IrishIronArmalite I belive all 7 books were eventualy translated to english, you should look for them @ Amazon or similar websites. And imho, with 3rd book (elven king or however they translated it) saga gets REALLY good. It's worth to search for them if you like this kind of fantasy.

  • круто сделано

  • is it wrong i got a boner to this?

  • @ThorgalsWalhalla I think it would be wrong if you didnt get a boner.

  • <3

  • Poland BEST ;D

  • I love how in The Witcher's world, there is more emphasis on verisimilitude than magic. In some other fantasy worlds, things can just happen because of "magic". In The Witcher, even magic has got it's own rules and thus can't be used as a plot device to make things happen. For example, I like how Geralt's abilities come from harsh genetic manipulation and not a stupid talisman. It gives him a sense of reality and tangibility.

  • Can you give me some more tracks like that? Please!

  • i remember when I beat the Witcher and this song was playing during the credits, it was unforgettable moment. Awesome music!

  • @yamahatyros2

    The same situation.

  • Why this is great? Because we came from Poland. Słowianie fucking rządzą.

  • I read the series of books after I had played the game and was absolutely amazed by the atmospere of this fantasy world. it's so unusual and remakable comparing with other books in this perfect style. The atmospere of game is also perfect thanks to gorgeous music and graphics. BUT i must say that peole can love it only if they undestand the earnest plot which makes me be deep in thoughts. it's not a light-minded novel that you'll forget soon. it's just masterpiece!

  • It's a real shame that none of the fantasy from any country in North America is as awesome as The Witcher.

I'm American, and The Witcher is absolutely my favorite kind of fantasy. I loved the game and I've enjoyed the books that have been translated to English.

  • @Hudoste: Thanks for the tip! ;)) i did that, read them all!! amazing!! :)) sadly, my bookstore wasn't smart enough to approve my request (the people there seemed offended by my proposal ahhaha) so i bought it online! :)) best money ever spent! :))

  • Which game is it?

  • you dont play this game , this game plays with you and thats something what you dont find in games today cdprojekt done great job :)

  • I think Guile theme would have suited this game better... just kidding, great game, great music, great books!

  • where can i find the books?? amazon...e-bay?? :D i really would like to get my hand on one copy! :D

  • @Kryx07 Go to your local bookstore or library and ask them to stock it!

Most of the time they're more than happy to accept requests :)

  • good job to the polish guys! outstanding game with such a great atmosphere. Really looking foward to the witcher 2! our stupid 'gothic' series sucks compared to that :D

  • Hajrá Witcher!!!! :D

  • I've just finish the Witcher few days ago, it's was one of the best RPG i've ever played.

I hope The Witcher 2 will be at least as good as the first one.

  • Best soundtrack I've ever heard. period

  • игра отличная. Зачем вы, портитите игру, своими сука "шедеврами".

  • Great game, too bad the books were not translated in italian, at least not yet.

I advise anyone to play the game on "hard", or it's too easy.

  • There's something about The Witcher books and game that has a striking atmosphere and wit that transports me to another world more than any other fantasy books/games/movies have even when there are game glitches and some plots that aren't that interesting (though mostly the stories in the franchise are superb by themselves).

  • but the Book is better^^

  • i would love to get a copy of those books ...but they are hard as helllllllll to find..they stopped printing them for all i heard...

  • on Amazon you can get the two translated ones, The Last Wish (the first one) and Blood of Elves (the first book that's not a short-story collection and is the start of a trilogy) with more on the way.

I loved both of them and am eager for more.

  • I'm not a fan of poorly translated games, but this music alone is really making me reconsider this game.

  • I am very happy to see that outlanders are enjoying the essence of great Polish fantasy that is The Witcher. But, I would like to tell you all, the game is absolutely NOTHING compared to the books. If you like the game you should try your hardest to get hold of a copy of the books. In English or whatever. You won't regret!

  • @Hudoste Im bulgarian and I've read almost all the books ;]

  • @Hudoste I have to agree, the game is one of the best rpg I've ever played, but the books really are masterpiece. I haven't read the last one, though... still waiting for the spanish translation : \

  • @Nyerion Oh, cool, didn't know there was a Spanish translation :D

  • @Hudoste As much as I agree with you on the fact that the books are amazing (I have so far read the two short story collections and three of the novels) I wouldn't call the game nothing compared to them. I was amazed at how well the game carries the athmosphere from the books. The wonderful world created by Andrzej Sapkowski has come to life in this video game. Both the books and the game are masterpieces in their own way. Enjoy both if you get the chance.

  • @bobivd6688 yes, I understand where you are coming from. I never once doubted that the Witcher is probably the best game the Polish have ever created, I just wanted to make people aware that there is a series of books behind it. :)

  • @Hudoste Right on then man. Wiedzmin is one of the most original and thrilling fantasy series ever written.

  • @Hudoste right, greetings from poland !

  • @Hudoste: You speak truth. :P

I've read the books, and while the game is great, I found it kind of an insult to the books. :P

  • @Hudoste you know i think ill do just that. thanks for reminding me to read the books :)

  • @Hudoste I've read the Last Wish, have a copy of Blood of Elves behind me. I'll back this guy up any day, they're good.

  • @Hudoste Totally agree with you. As soon as I heard about this game and the books it was based on I ordered an english copy of "The Last Wish" and totally fell in love with it. Now I've read also the second book: "Blood of Elves" which was even better than the first one. Too bad they haven't translated any more of the books to english yet. But when the third one comes out, I'll be sure to buy it instantly!

  • @reCozHD Yes, well, actually, The Blade of Fate is the one after The Last wish...

    Just sayin'. :)

  • @Hudoste

    I own all the books.

They are are indescribably amazing, but saying the game is nothing compared to them is going too far.

  • @UshiromiyaReiji Figure of speech, mah friend :)

I know better than to mean things like that. ;D

  • @Hudoste The books arent easy to get. I started looking for em after i finished the game wich was long ass fuckin time ago. Anyways, i dont speak polish so getting the books is real hard for me. And yes i do know there are some Witcher books in english, but i cannot find any of those version on internet and i live in Estonia so yeah...fuck, i really would liketo read the books.

  • It's a shame they have only released two of the books in English :(

  • @Hudoste Read in Russian, much closer to Polish, amirite? Loved the books, my sister introduced them to me.

  • @Hudoste do the books describe the sex scenes =3?

  • @windson7 You have no idea. *evilgrin*

  • @Hudoste are there pictures =3?

  • @windson7 No. But that is what the interwebs are for, amirite?

  • @Hudoste

    Listen to this man.

The Witcher was a masterpiece, one of the best games ever made (and my all-time favourite), but Sapkowski's writing is phenomenal.

This man revolutionized the fantasy genre, caught it by its feet, turned it upside down, and crafted a world like no other, that grabs you and doesn't let you go until it tells all its stories.

    The world, characters..

Everything can be taken to heart easily.

    Everything is so humane.

    So real.

    READ the books, people.

    You will NOT regret it.

  • @UshiromiyaReiji Trust me, I'm doing my best with the books. Alas, I lack a flare for languages and I'm still waiting on English translations being published =[

  • @UshiromiyaReiji for now there is only one witcher saga book (blood of elves) rest is being translated

  • @Baltik119

Sadly, yes; only The last Wish and Blood of Elves are translated in English, with Times of Contempt being pushed back a million times and currently scheduled for a late 2012 release.

However, ALL the books have been translated in Bulgarian, Czech, Serbian, Swedish, Russian, German, Italian, Lithuanian, French, Portuguese and Spanish.

If you are fluent in ANY of those, I HIGHLY recommend you find a bookstore and buy them.

I assure you that you WILL NOT regret it.

  • @Hudoste I just bought te books after finishing The Wicther 1 and 2 and I can't help but agree :)

  • @Hudoste I totally agree with you! I've read two books (published in italian - Im'm waiting for the others) long before playing the games and I truly love Sapkowski'saga! He's a GENIUS! ;)

  • @Hudoste

Most people in Poland love the game but find books (most of them) a bit boring, and yes i mean the fantasy fans, i never read them so i cant judge but im happy you like them ;)

  • @pkm100 most of them ? i don't think so ;D I think that 90 percent of this people find that Witcher saga is magnifficent and so .... so..... eh indredible !

  • @szczurek199

Im not saying its bad, but every review of the book i seen here said it is boring, im not judging them and im really happy you like them friend ;)

  • @Hudoste Wish I knew Polish. I'd learn it just to read the Witcher.

  • @AndyRaslan You can lern it, but langeuge in the book is a bit... different. In books are words a little bit older than that what we use in our daily life. Not much, but still. Book is really great, and the game has some incompatibility with the books (i mean the nature of the witcher) but keep serching, or lern our language

  • @AndyRaslan the books exist in german, english, i think french too... lol.

  • @ratteasd in czech too...

  • @LadyAikoAstala yeah, idc, wanted examples... get a life...

  • @Hudoste True Story :D
