It's mind blowing to imagine that most of these voices if not all are singing from the grave. Thank you guys for liberating us, lest we forget.....It's so sad that the people who deserved to enjoy the fruits of liberation were deprived of it and some jerk asses are ripping our country apart. What a shame!!!
This was when when the people were the people, before the revolution had been hijacked by greed money grabbing idiots. This was when the people yearned for a united happy Zimbabwe.Even Mugabe was a hero then!!! How times have changed!!
Zvinorwadza , after all this fighting, fighting for freedom this is what we get. From being just a normal poor nation to an Extremely very poor country with very talented , loving and hardworking nationals. PAMBERI NEKUVA NE TARIRO MACOMRADES. One day we will all going to restore the economy of our Beloved Zimbabwe.
we all suffered during this period.. for anyone even to suggest Rhodesia was better makes me boil with anger.. things will only better in our beautiful zim....rest assured. itsthe greatest country on the planet!!
What happened to Zimbabwe? I dont mean the economic situation but the mentality , nationalism, -- cultural pride? Surely the struggle was never fought for the westernizing of the country. Can anyone explain to me what happened?
@Illuminated7 I think we need to teach the young generation about pride and patriotism..they seem lost. Speaking english and talking ghetto and they think they know everything.
revolution did not end with political independence, so aluta continue for economic empowerment, lets be mature and responsible about change, economic empowerment is the change majority inspire for, not just change of political leaders, i like zimbabweans and this song inspire us all
Excelent nostalgia of our deadly struggle, everyday battling for food, survival, dying from desease, bombs from the air bullets and missiles from the ground for merely being black and fighting for our human rights in our own country. The born and bred racists killed us en mass for nothing else other than our ethnicity, yet not a single one has been hauled before the stupid ICC.
pple 2day live under the illusion of bein free whilst all this nonsense is goin on. a normal person with common sense can see that somethin is not right in this world. if the white man starts enslavin negros 2day noone will say a word coz majority are under mental slavery. no government in africa is in control of their resources understanding politics and the way the empire is bein build today to control & enslave. & the murder of africanz still continue to this day under our watch.
Though Zanu has lost the plot, I would be the first to say that in the past Zanu embodied the hopes and aspirations of the generality of the Zimbabwean populace. We now have to look forward to a new dispensation but we never should forget the sacrifice of our people in ridding ourselves of the colonial york. I am no fan of Mugabe's current policies. He was my hero once but not currently!
