honestly if he was a serious instructor he would be training people how to use a knife in a non lethal way. Stomach/ and jugular vein? If you were to ever use a knife like that against someone even in self defense you could go to jail, in self defense there is always a whole world of moves that can defend effectively, disable, but not kill.
yeah and afcourse the judge is going to make a difference in you slicing him non lethal or lethal. what are you talking about, the strike itself could be not placed well, therefore not lethal and you still go to jail because its attempted murder. thats IF its not in proper self defense, and by proper self defense i mean your life must be in immediate danger
i am trained on how to fight with a knife. and thats not how you do it. if you know how to use a knife you will NOT cut your self when cutting someone else or something else. if you do, chances are your doing it wrong. js
@CubbyNINJA I think this is meant for someone a little more inexperienced, like he said "if you were going to teach your mom your wife or your girlfriend". my sister carries a knife in her purse for self defense but she doesn't have the training to do much more then stab.
@CubbyNINJA I agree. My best friend is at the E Level in Krav maga. There is a lot of schools that claim to teach this stuff but they're actually bullshit courses.
