Yes I use photoshop, and Yes it costs money.

If you use something like GIMP, it's totally free. I'd also recommend trying Paint Tool Sai. which isn't bad either :P dont think you need to pay for that...

I personally don't like the fur. And I actually liked the drawing as the sketch. I really didn't like the final outcome. I also have a question. Earlier it looked like there was a smile on his face. Why wasn't that still there after you were done?

Sometimes smiles or other mouth expressions are left out on Sonic art. even the original art sometimes. It makes it more serious, I could've made a serious smile, but I chose for no expression at all because that's often used also.
