I do realize that the newer games may be good (I was fond of 4 and 5 had mad co-op fun) but at this point it's an action game, not what Resident Evil was founded on: surviving. It went from how to kill something to what method of killing is most enjoyable. Plus I'm a fan of the zombies akin to the Romero design. Just me.

My favorite game was... Dead Rising 2-OTR. Dead Island came in second, the whole distance thing I figured out within a day to where I could lop off two zombies heads with a single machete swing. And the balance issues I didn't notice any, it was great fun and I played through it about a dozen times. All in all Dead Island was a great game. I enjoyed it and even though I got it donated to me on steam I would've paid 60 dollars for it, full price, no qualms at all.

Not gonna lie...Nazi Zombies. This minigame has two layers. The mindless fun of seeing how many waves you can survive against countless undead while you get new guns and perks, and the cryptic and creepy backstory that isnt given to you. You have to find clues and piece together what happened in order to fully realize the story. And the wunderaffe is just beast :D

i thought the game was ok was a nice change from what i have played. it was like (to me anyways) left for dead but with out the whole run the gauntlet crap over and over. yeah you have to grind and do quest and back track but at least you could go where you wanted and just explore. but yeah did get old after a while and the story was a lil lacking but would play another if they made a dead island 2 and just did better about the story as im just a sucker for co-op games and zombies.

That prequel, which was about two hours long, was better than Dead Island, a full -priced retail game that took five years to make.

@jengofrett Zombie implies someone has died and then returned to life. The parasite people in RE4 don't die and come back. Like 28 Days Later, the transformation takes seconds and the person doesn't die. Of course as pop culture defines them, they are zombies, just not techincally.

These are zombies i.e. the decaying corpses of one alive humans. they aren't supposed to be easy to kill I want you to just try and beat some one to death with a baseball bat or a boat paddle then hike the difficulty of that task up a notch considering they cant feel pain and are hungry for blood. You could through a piece of wood, at a propane tank, and have it explode. I didn't know Pinto got into the propane business here. As for my personal experience, bullets have to be gathered from the living enemies, and unless your desperate, have a trap set up, or have a high cal. weapon, bullets are best used on the living. And it is sweet when you swing a blade at a zombie, and chop it's head off.

Has to be Left 4 Dead 2. Some people complain that there are no zombies in the game and that they are humans with rabies, but I consider them a form of zombie. Aside from that it would have to be Zombies on Call of Duty:Black Ops. Wish they would make Zombies an actual game by itself. Like the campaign is based around the creation of zombies and stuff, no windows or anything, just zombies coming after you but with story n stuff. Awesome vid btw

i gotta say like i didnt hate the melee In some cases. sure when u werent over run by zombies it was fun to hack away at them and it was cool to uprgrade machetes and shit and get like electro shock stuff on them but i have to totally agree it was so frustrating at point where i did just run by the zombies to get through the game. the prison levels comes to mind, there were rooms with like three different bosses and zombies, i would just run and close the door behind me, that was my strategie
