He didn't run the bottle for this event because he didn't want to go too fast and break out of the time PINKS had set as a limit. He was also footbraking his launch as well. Trust me, that truck is a beast.

I agree with Monteguy88. That's how drag racing was back in the 50's and 60's. Sadly people got hurt when cars really started burnin the 1/4 and the two lane style now rules. Particularly on sanctioned tracks.
