  • Honestly, I didn't like this movie very much. I thought it made Clint Eastwood look like a wimp in the beginning. I mean come on! Clint Eastwood doesn't heard cattle. Then Eastwood gets saved by Deus X Machina. And then the romance at the end was so forced. But the music is good. I liked it a lot. Not as good as Ennio Morricone, but classic western, none the less.

  • @HomieG75 lol he herded cattle for 6 seasons in Rawhide...

  • wheres the replay button!

  • Wish i was born in 1880 or something like that :)

  • ich kann überhaupt nicht verstehen wie man dieses Lied nicht mögen kann SAUEREI ´grrrrrrrrrr

  • In which Dominic Frontiere does his best Ennio Morricone impression.

  • :( Clint Eastwood is one of those rare guys that should've never gotten old along with Lee Van Cleef

  • clint is good

  • @tony44567 Clint is more than good. Alot more than good. Good doesnt scrape the boundry of the 5mile radius of where he is. He is up there, as one of the greatest actors of all time.

  • A person who's watched as many old kung fu pictures as I have ends up being knowledgeable in spaghetti western soundtracks without even knowing it. Several of those films, such as "Death Duel of Kung Fu", have made use (unauthorized, of course) of this particular theme, and I like this one a lot.

  • @JoseBronxRican Hey, ever watch "Los cuatro Karatecas del Apocalipsis". I watch that movie many times in a cheap movie teather in Buenos Aires, Argentina (Cine Roca). They used to play 3 movies for a Dollar. Most of the movies were about Kung fu & western. Oh, about that movie. One is an expert in Kung fu, the other a Master in Hapki do (better than all I must add), the other Karate Do & the Other I can't remember. The movie was cool.

  • @argent2020 I wonder if it had an American release title, and if I would recognize it; sounds like something I should keep an eye out for. Thanks for the suggestion.

  • @JoseBronxRican Ok, this is the closest I found, but I'm not sure. It seems likely. What's amazing about this movie is that this guy gets in a fights at a restaurant and on top of a table does a showdown that 20 something years later became break dance (spinning on the ground).

  • When Clint Eastwood dies...I will wear a black armband for a day.

  • @KoMmIzZaR98 maybe a stupid question, but why a black armband?

  • @KoMmIzZaR98

    but he'll never die...

  • My favorite western, I think its because of the music soundtrack.

  • I wish this music played any time i win an argument and walk away

  • LOVE THIS MOVIE! And thumbs up if you listen to this when you are riding your horse on read dead redemption!!!!!

  • Booker T and the MG's weren't too shabby with their version, either.

  • @JokerRecordings Do you think it would be possible to record this again at an rpm a bit slower? The same song is on a Pandora station of mine and I think it sounds a lot better just a little bit slower. Unfortunately it only comes on that station every once in a while. Thanks for posting though!

"Then I'll get you there dead."

  • 3 people mistook the dislike button for "Dis I like."

  • not quite as good as the booker t and mg's version

  • Hollywood tried to kill the western with that Brokeback Mountain shit, But they can never destroy real true great westerns from real men like Clint and John wayne

  • @kennhi2008 that's right man. I logged in just to click a "Like this" in your comment

  • @kennhi2008 dude your just an idiot

  • @tardersauce12 I am sorry, I never realized you were such a fan of gay movies !!

  • Love this. Believe it or not, I'm actually a great friend of Dominic Frontiere.

  • @TechManSource Tell him he has fans who know his work. I've just watched the interviews on the DVD release of the final season of "The Fugitive." He's a pro - a real composer. His connection to Paul Hindemith was something I didn't know. He seems like a decent man, too. When his music from "The Outer Limits" turned up in "The Fugitive" it was a genuine thrill. Unmistakable sound. So, now I'm going to watch "The Outer Limits" - for the music.

  • "You don't remember me do you?"

    "NO"

"When you hang a man you better look at him."

I GOT CHILLS MAN. CLINT IS BADASS

  • @xxrobloxiaxx Your not the only one i have been watching them for 2 years and im 17 now. I always feel like i have grown up in the wrong time in history, its like i missed the 60s when these were good to all audiences

  • 2nd best western by eastwood

  • @miafan89 thumbs up x49840918204

  • @miafan89 Punk! :D

  • Love this song and movie! Westerns will never die :)

  • It pains me to say this, but unfortunately, they have.

  • This theme was going through my head when I looked at the trailer for red dead redemption lol.

  • great theme song, but very eerie.

  • I don't understand how people think john wayne movies are better than eastwood ones, i suppose it's your own opnion in the end

  • Best lines from the movie:

"Don't go for that gun Reno, I need you alive"....

"You'll never get me to Fort Grant alive boy"

"Then I'll get you there dead....boy"

  • The man's a legend !

  • "When you hang a man, you better look at him!" - Cooper

  • Clint at his best doing what he does best. He always plays one hell of a western thats clint. He made U feel just like U were there in it. how many actors can make u feel that way? Thanks Clint

  • @yankeetyme Hell Yes!!!!

in every way, shape, and form partner!

  • @yankeetyme i agree,

Well he is a real cowboy isnt he?

  • @yankeetyme He does more than that. He makes you want to be him.

  • 2nd best movie theme

  • Best Western theme

  • second best western theme

  • @bobbylee1557 what's the best one then?

  • @BadBlueBoy213 something of Ennio Morricone, I believe

  • Eastwood looks weird in this western without the beard stubble.

  • @kraken589 i think he shaved it so ppl didnt confuse this movie with the dollars trilogy

  • Super Movie und unvergessen Clint Eastwood in einer seiner besten Rolle,... :-) 5 *****

  • The first time I heard this theme was when I listened to some of Hugo Montenegros scores.

The orginal though, I think its better.

But I still like Hugo Montenegro no matter what.

  • Great sound, Great Movie!

  • great song and a very great movie

  • graet job, your selection is just fantastic..

  • The music was written specifically for the movie at the producer's request and this is the original. Booker T and the MGs version made it famous a little later.

  • love the rythmn,is there an older version of this song or is this the 1st time it was ever created and made famous by this movie?

  • I don't know, actually. I've got the song from the vinyl "Great Western Film Themes" from 1976. This version is composed by Dominic Frontiere in 1968.

  • @JokerRecordings it was composed by dominic who did the music soundtrack for the movie.there is a dance version of this theme done by Material, pretty good.

  • @JokerRecordings Seems like the song in the movie had a little more orchestra twang to it.

  • @mrselfister THE ORIGINAL WAS PLAYED BY ENNIO MORRICONNE

  • I'm quite sure its the original track

  • @Spartanwarrioromega I think it is the original one, I may be wrong :)

But the rhytm sounds right, cause I've seen the film several times :)

  • @Spartanwarrioromega you probably heard one of the many Soul or Reggae covers of this.

  • @Spartanwarrioromega it sound familiar to me also maybe it was borrowed from a spaghetti
