Only in the sense that it's made by the same people, and has a similar art style.

LocoRoco was a lot like a Platformer, and Patapon is a Rhythm Strategy game. In the end, they're two completely different games.

its a easy game if u have a sense of rythym without the tendecy to get distracted. If u get distracted easily or have no sense of rythm, good luck mate, you are gonna need it.

plus it's a new game with new ideas
