  • i want go in that ship and find my love and die with her like the movie titanic:$

  • 2 people can't afford to go on the ship

  • I hope the owner of Oasis will not say: "Even God can not drawn this ship!" =)))

  • @sdanovikov, drawn? Let's hope no-one draws any gods on that one - I'd hate to see what the extremists would do.

  • i was on this in december the best cruise ever!

  • Please name and camera model older and thank you for beautiful video

  • oasis of the see titanic's return

  • One day this boat will be mine.. mark my words.

  • the ugliness of this thing is only matched by the stupidity its passengers on board!

  • I am Brazilian, but I'm not proud of it!

  • @SAMoyses why?

  • Finland is a contry of NOKIA. Good Boat

  • I'm building myself one of these

  • my dad owns a one those, but he's about to upgrade to something a bit roomier.

  • Try to Jump from that ship..!!

  • very nice video quality..!

  • Earlier, largest ships we're built in Britain (like Titanic, Olympic...)

Nowadays, largest ships are built in finland.

  • No lot of parts are made in finland, electronics from Europe and lights&spotlights from china

  • @killeri000, steel, cabins and the propulsion system are made in Finland. Engines are made in Italy but the company is Finnish. Considering the fact that there were around 1000 subcontractors, most of which were Finnish, I'd say most of the ship comes from the small country in the North :)

  • Home coming??????? her home is Nassau.

  • fucking ban panel

  • man what kind of camera are you using cause thats amazing quality of the footage you captured of this beautiful massive ship

  • dentro de unos añitos filmaremos al princess kaguya =D

  • That thing can't stop Godzilla!

  • does this ship sail to norway?

  • @metalboy22 at that time, no.

  • Good position, incredible ship !

  • Move the ship out of the asteroid field so that we can send a clear transmission.

Don't fail me again Admiral Piett..

  • whoa! its like a great wall of china on sea......

  • is that one of the largest ships ever built?

  • @236carmel, yes. There are bigger ships, but not many.

  • @236carmel yes biggest evar :D

  • very nice camera....

  • Brazilian Flag!!!!! Nice!!!!!

  • what will they think of next,

soon there's gonna be sport stadiums in ships,

    and international airports.

and im sure the engine couldn't be too good for the environment anyway how are those safety boats on the side supposed to carry all the people on the boat

  • what will they think of next,

soon there's gonna be sport stadiums in ships,

    and international airports.

and im sure the engine couldn't be too good for the environment

  • Sehr schönes Video.

Die Oasis ist der Hammer, aber trotzdem finde ich klassische kleine Kreuzfahrtschiffe etwas romantischer, als diese "Riesenpötte"..

  • i have a question. do people dislike vids just to be assholes or do they really not-like the video

  • @ichuwawa Yes it may be bigger, but the titanic was much grander. Her fist class cabins had hand crafted mahogany wainscoting!

  • Lithuanians helped build the ship

  • this is a MUST i luvd it

  • Big.

  • imagine a yacht that big only for you... lol *-*

  • Hi!! I would like to know if Oasis of the Seas has any environmental friendly systems aside of the water treatment plant. Like solar panels, or whatever. English is not my natal language so excue me for the mistakes.

  • I have work on this cruise for more then 1 year.you guys. should see how amazing is to see this grow up like I saw. from the 1st peace of iron to the last touch!PS: did you know that. if you put all the electric cables together that exists in this ship, its like going 1 time around the world, believe it or not!

and oasis brother(Allure Of The Seas)it´s almost ready, we are just finishing it!!

    regards from Finland,!!!

  • @sintra73 - yeah the Allure of the Seas is going to be in Ft Lauderdale in December.

  • @sintra73 Fucking awesome dude. You must have huge patience in your work. But I bet the feeling of accomplishment when a ship is ready is one of the greatest things happening in your life. I am amazed by the engineering abilities that is needed to build such technological wonders.

By the way, what are the small boats around it spraying water for?

  • @DonQuixotec Hey not to butt in, but i asked same thing on another video, its ceremonial, when a ship arrives home, or something like that, i know its ceremonial, sorry i cant spell,lol..

  • @4624tone Ah okay, thanks man!

  • @sintra73 WE ARE JUST FINNISHIN IT, m8 theres alot of diffirent between you finnsih guy and the finnish WORKERS that makes it.

But finland is cool with this ships:)

  • @sintra73 so you help built this ship? i am boarding this ship this saturday btw

  • Probably that man has a digital photocamera like mine. I have the Canon PowerShot SX1. Can take photos during video. You can get too, frame video with 2mpix but if you take picture like him, will be with 10mpix size

  • Braaaazil !!

  • Its soo beautyfull .

Anybody knows the life expectancy of such a ship ?

  • If I had to give a wild guess, I'd say 30-50 years. Passenger ships generally have a greater lifespan than cargo ships, but recently relatively new ships have been scrapped. Also, running a ship like this might become so expensive over the years that it might be scrapped sooner than a smaller but otherwise similar ship.

  • my brod is one of the crew there! ur the lucky one my bro....!

  • MADE IN FINLAND.

  • @MrDeepeye nope made by a Korean company in Finaland TSX ship yards

  • @MrDeepeye

yes its obvious. its equally obvious that you are from finland.

  • @MrDeepeye the parts are MADE IN CHINA

  • @MrDeepeye good thing it wasn't made in Taiwan! it would have sunk

  • lol..... there is too much lifeboats!!! theres 18 lifeboats all.... sooo.... 18x370= 6660!! so all the persons on board and let your dog join cause it have extra capacity!

  • Yeah. The crew of over 2000 can be sacrificed to save the passengers who have paid for their cruise ;)

  • @SeAnTrO1c ikr, not necessarily a bad thing though atleast u would have a little extra leg room lol.

  • dude superb cam....very clear zoom

  • yes, there is enough life boats, they have a capacity of 500 people each boat

  • 370...

  • Only like rich people are riding this fucking huge and badass cruise ship!!!!! LUCKY BASTARDS!!!! XD

  • I think I have been to that house you are filming near, hope to go on that soon!

  • Opinions are like bum holes, everyone´s got one but everyone´s but your own stinks.

  • But is there enough life boats??????????

  • woah this thing has 3 smokestacks

  • LMAO the helicopter looks like a Mosquito next to that thing

  • lucky and rich people are there now lol

  • The new Titanic =D

  • @Felipeeso a lot of the cruise ships before this was made were bigger then the titanic

  • @Felipeeso ummmmmmm, I was looking at the number of boats ...... have made the same mistake of titanic?!? I hope not ......

  • @MrStefanotuttofare but those boats are sooo much larger than the ones on the titanic

  • Can someone tell me how fast can it go? In Kilometers por hour please?

    Thanks

    Marcio - Brazil

  • 22.6 knots, 41.9 km/h, 26.0 mph.

  • wow, this is a great zoom and

    the ship is beautiful

  • I actually...disagree with that.

The zoom is pretty crappy and digital, but the camera quality is freaking nice. Especially at the beginning. All sharp and clear...sexy.

And yes the ship is nice.

  • Yeah, 80x is pushing it, but I had to just to capture the enormity of the thing on zoom out.

  • Nice Video and great shoot. If you don't mind telling us what kind of camera you used?

  • Lol. This ship is so big it's lifeboats probably have lifeboats!

  • I'd be almost willing to bet that each lifeboat has an emergency stash of supplies...candles, emergency food rations somewhere, flares, that type of thing. I wouldn't be afraid to ride aboard the ship at all!

  • AFAIK such "stash" is explicitly required. However, as you used the word "stash", I was expecting... well, some other emergency stuff as well. You know, to keep the passengers calm ;)

  • Impressive but for the 'at sea' experience I wouldn't choose a ship like this. Give me a 10-foot sailing dinghy any time! ;-)

  • what camara do you use??? is beauthiful film

  • Canon PowerShot SX20 IS

  • nice cam.

  • Great footage

  • if they built this huge thing u know they have something build like 1 of the ships in the movie 2012 for natural disaster purposes only

  • Lord art in heaven. Wholy S***T Thats rediculos. The are moving one of those miami condos on a barge.LOL

Great filming who ever you are. Didnt realize how big it was untill i saw saw the passenger on the ship.

What are they going to do with the older ships?I mean they are still fairly new.

  • it's gonna sink

  • It might, but because of the historic disaster that befell the Titanic, there are certain rules and regulations that have to be followed. One being, they are not going to be sailing anywhere near an iceberg infested part of the ocean, and number two, even if the ship were in danger, there for sure would be enough lifeboat space on board for all.

  • It kills me that the people so vocal about comparing Oasis to Titanic, also seem to be completely oblivious to the international maritime laws and regulations which followed after the Titanic disaster. That these idiots would think the 90+ years later, nothing in the cruise/shipping industry has changed as a result of that tragedy. Those lifeboats look tiny but the size of the ship creates that illusion. I saw one in the water and those things are as big as a small airliner.

  • How many do you think one lifeboat would hold? One on that Oasis ship?

  • I don't remember the exact number but its a between 350-375 people per lifeboat.

  • There you have it!! One life boat hold so much many more people on it than any of the Titanic lifeboats did...and this time folks are sure that these lifeboats will stay seaworthy. Also, we have learned a lot since Titanic. We now have an NTSB who would have to inspect the entire area of the ship to approve it and to certify that it is indeed in line with the safety guidelines.

  • EXACTLY!!!!

  • +1. I guess we can blame James Cameron for that.

  • LOL.

And to clarify (in-general) the lifeboats I was referring to are the one's on "Oasis of the Seas". Titanic's lifeboats were obviously way smaller and inadequate.

  • It also irritates me that as people have only heard of Titanic they are only concerned about hitting an iceberg (in the Caribbean!). They're forgetting more greater risks such as collision with another vessel or just simple grounding, both of which could result in total loss of the ship.

I wonder what's the total capacity of the life-saving equipment on OotS. Some of the life rafts might not be visible to outside.

  • A beautiful ship, build in the most beautiful place on earth, the archipelago of Turku :-)

  • parents are planning a cruise on this ship. :) i can't wait! she's a beauty.

  • maybe they went too far this time

  • I agree. I am no cruise critic or expert but this is in fact RIDICULOUS, for lack of a better word. I mean, I am a huge Carnival fan, and I thought the Dream was obnoxious but this makes the Dream look like a kyak. I think it looks ugly on the outside with all of those balcony rooms. It just seems so over bearing. I mean, you would never catch me on a boath with over 7,000 people. That is crazy! I'll stick to Carnival's smaller yet, fun ships! (:

  • Yeah...you're a Carnival fan? Maybe we shouldn't listen to your cruise ship advice.

  • I wasn't giving ANYONE advice. Everyone's entitled to their opinions and that is mine. Get over it, OR don't reply to my comments. Thanks (:

  • see ya in feburary

  • that ship is RIDICULOUS. daaaaang.
