@ixorafy No it's not. I live in the netherlands (nederland). And my province called south-holland. You also have north-holland. And other province like zeeland.

And the name "koninkrijk der nederlanden" Isn't true. In the history it was "Den lage landen" (the low lands).

But my country is called: Nederland.

The Dutch often call it all Holland too. Especially in adjective form (Hollands/Hollandse).

The Netherlands is a land, Zeeland is a province , the storm barries is around Zeeland cause the storm in 1953 orso xD lol iam dutch , iam from the netherlands but dont know how to explain this in english

@12vi14194 There is always confusion about the difference between "Holland" and "the Netherlands". Holland is basically only the western part of the Netherlands, i.e. the provinces of North- and South Holland, economically and politically most dominating but still only about one third of the of the Netherlands. Many foreigners say "Holland" when they mean "the Netherlands", just like many people say "England" when they mean "United Kingdom", offending e.g. Scots and Frisians by doing so ....

there is no differents between the meaning of those ''names''

There is not a special calling for the west side or the south or w/e. Both those names means the same --> the whole country :)
