Great direction. I love the opera music but totally dislike the conservative audience and traditionall settings, this one is genius, fantastic aesthetics. It seems as a theatre play with fabulous music. Brilliant!

The production is really terrible...Donna Anna wearing a short dress in 4 colors and red shoes?cmon...that changes the message of the opera...In terms of singing, this role is really hard; it needs a more dramatic voice, a bigger range; but she has a nice coloratura and a good style; of course that's not unforgettable but still fine.

leoperarm. I agree. Why does Salzberg continue to do this. I love Christine Schafer's singing. She of all people deos not need to lower herself. Other singers such as Kiri Te Kanawa always avoided Salzberg - to much celebrity shenanigans.

This is so not for her... I didn't hear her Cherubino but there is something in her Mozart interpretations(Donna Anna, Konstanze) that I realy don't like. It sounds artificial. She should stick with Lulu, her signature role!

Great voice and with passion..never mind what she is wearing it is the voice that carries this. Christine is superb and the audience appreciate this rendition.

She have a small voice with a nothing special timbre! You have to be from the MICKY MOUSE CLUB to think that this is enough for singing Opera! It would be better that she study more LIEDER (Schubert etc.) - But with Bartoli together and Juan Diego Flores and Netrebko they will be the new WAGNERGROUP for all the plebeians around who do not know nothing from LIVEOPERA and what it means to be a real OPERASINGER! All the best to all the people who only listen to youtube and studiorecords!
