  • "...until next time, go to hell." xD

So few people understand that the atheist position is just an application of the burden of proof to a god hypothesis, and that the atheist doesn't have to provide any alternate explanations for the supernatural causes believers propose to explain natural events, that many individuals might actually think this guy has a point.

  • you guys are all going to hell, jesus christ is lord..

  • @jakeo96 Prove it.

  • @Snipe4261 trololololol

  • @jakeo96 The guy in the video is obviously a comedian, you appear to be genuine so you might be a Poe, and I'm just a guy making a reasonable request. So, the question is were you being facetious in your first post or were you serious and you're just refusing to respond to my challenge?

  • @Snipe4261 dude im an athiest and was trolling. stop being a faggot

  • @jakeo96 Google "Poe's law" and stop making ambiguous posts.

  • @Snipe4261 google the blue waffle and stop telling me what to do

  • @jakeo96 Do you actually enjoy getting a rise out of people, or what?

  • @Snipe4261 dude stop being a faggot

  • @jakeo96 It's a serious question. You are obviously a "real" internet troll. You go around saying things that are completely unnecessary and offensive, presumably for the sole purpose of pissing people off. This leads me to wonder what your motivation is because making people angry for your own amusement, if that is your motivation, is kind of sadistic. I'm giving you an opportunity to articulate your motivations before I jump to the conclusion that your are, in fact, a sadist.

  • @Snipe4261 oh yeah, well I'm giving you the opportunity to pull the dick outta yer ass

  • @jakeo96 You do realize that if you had just said "I was being sarcastic" we never would have had this conversation, don't you? Seriously kid, grow up.

  • @Snipe4261 you mad bro?

  • @jakeo96 I was initially angry the first time you told me to "stop being a faggot" but then I realized that you actually are a troll and don't give a shit, so I stopped giving a shit as well.

  • @Snipe4261 oh its cool.. do you wanna meet up and get coffee

  • fuck you

  • I think you shouldn't have to be able to explain the big bang theory or something like that like you really know science, I put my trust in many respected scientists. These scientists do the real work, I as an atheist enjoy reading or watching scientists talk about this. In for example a debate a scientist comes with great arguments which make a lot of sense and because of this I believe in the evolution theory, not creationism. I don't have "faith". I want evidence, stuff that makes sense.

  • AMAZING INSIGHT: This is John Safran, raised as Jewish but is an Atheist, this clip s from a TV series he produced for the ABC, It looks at all religions (origins, applications and relevence in todays society) . Throughout this entire series he gives equal and non bias attention to all aspects of belief systems. this is not a christian propaganda vid nor is it on Dawkin's ipod. It is simply a broad look at human cultures. his signature "sign-out" here once again shows that all is "fair game".

  • LOL @ Christians that use this logic as a defense to cover up the fact that they know a lot less than most Atheists because the majority of what Christians know comes from ONE BOOK and over 80% of Christians DON'T EVEN READ IT. HAHAHAHA stupid fucks.

  • Atheism is simply 'rejection of belief in a god'. Nothing to do with intelligence or knowledge about the universe.

  • @controllerbrain but many intelligent people choose to be atheists.

  • Atheist just means the person does not believe in deities. No where in the definition of the word is there a requirement to believe in the Big Bang Theory. Though many of them do, even those who don't are still atheist. As long as they believe deities (Gods) are not real. It seems this man is guilty of what he speaks against. Acting wise of something he doesn't fully understand. Welcome to the club Mr.

  • Lolzzzzzz

  • what makes atheists think their smarter? simple; arrogance.

not to mention being an atheist is so practically easy that there's really nothing to it, despite how he makes it sound like its the ultimate challenge for anyone who is religious yet they assume that their better when their mind set is hollower, less important, and lamer. besides science and religion were not entirely at odds with each other in the past either, take for example the egyptians and the greeks.

  • @KatanaRapierCombo2 Science and religion weren't lat odds? They always were. But even moreso today, since science has grown to explain more and more of the natural world. Now they are totally polar opposites for good reason....one, science, looks for truth and reason and the other, religion, wants to continue to propogate falsehoods and ancient superstiitions with no care for the truth.

  • @gvman3670 that's an outrageous opinion, but perfectly natural. you have to take into account that ancient egypt was a very scientific and very religious civilization at the same time, and so was greece. religion isn't actually as foolish as you think, people are, now you might assume that this is just a lame excuse, but you have to be able to contrast religious fanatics whom could be somewhat stupid from the ones who have a thorough understanding of their religion, like theodore roosevelt.

  • @KatanaRapierCombo2 Personally, I see Christianity as the biggest thing holding mankind back. If it never existed at all, or at least wasn't forced down Europeans' throats, there would have been no Dark Ages at all. That held Western culture and science back for 1000. Then think how far we've progessed in just the last 100 and you'd have to wonder where we'd be today without religion, especially Abrahamic religions. Christianity needs to go away. For good.

  • @gvman3670 I personally disagree. science can be mad sometimes, if people use it very irresponsibly. I think Christianity was a good thing, because you have to take into account that there was already Judaism, before Christianity. the dark ages aren't because of Christianity or religion for that matter, but more like because of heresy, fraud, and other forms of personal gain by suspicious individuals, which went too far and caused chaos in society, kind of like possible economic collapse today.

  • Atheism means to not believe in any god. There is no rule that says that atheists have to believe in any scientific theories. If this was made by a Christian, it disproved the point it was trying to make, because that mistake reinforces the idea that Christians are "stupid." But obviously not all Christians are simple, and not all atheists are smart. All this video does is encourage negative stereotypes.

  • @spazzattack2410 Exactly, I agree with you.

  • It is quite fascinating to observe what some Christians must dismiss out of hand to continue believing in a literal translation of the bible. Evolutionary biology, modern genetics, modern cosmology, geology, D.N.A. sequence testing, modern radiometric dating techneques, geographic distribution of fossils and living organisms.

They believe man was made from mud 6000 years ago and women were made from mans rib. Well with that kind of evidence who can blame them. LOL.

  • I'm too smart not to realize that a omniscient, omnipotent God holds me accountable for sins he knew I would commit before I was created then allows me to burn in hell for those very sins he knew I would commit.

My free will allows this God to have no responsibility when I do burn in a hell that he created for "sins" he knew I would commit.

Wow! God really does love me. LOL.

  • @metalsusa1 thats right, its not your fault, if there is a hell and you go there then its some other beings fault, not that the fact that you didnt act like a grown up and take responsibility for your actions

    You sound like a child

  • @ilchey Yeah, an infinite punishment for finite "crimes" like unbelief sounds really fair. If I'm a child then your just insane.

  • @metalsusa1 Well I think unbelief wouldnt condemm you to hell if there is one. So if there is one I dont think you or me would go to it. All that matters is if your a decent person, no matter what your belief is. I'd imagine sick people like serial killers and rapists who were not sorry for their crimes would be the type to go there. Thats just my opinion though, to each his own.

  • @ilchey ilchey no offence, but you sound like most people in this country when it comes to the bible. You have no clue what it says or you would not have referred to me as a child.

If you are so inclined read Revelation 21:8 when it clearly tells you unbelievers go to the lake of fire. I only say this because the Bible is one horrible piece of work. I don't recommend you read it if you want to continue believing it.

  • @JustSTFUAbby

For fucks sake, we have actual fucking pictures of the big bang. Where are the pictures of your imaginary friend, other than people claiming to see Jesus on their toast, in water stains, or my personal favorite, a dog's ass?

  • You don't need a degree in astrophysics to understand enough about the scientific method and peer review to know that scientists aren't just pulling answers out of their asses, or believing in old fairy tales like theists.

It was still a funny clip.

  • 146 people have an arts degree

  • religion=war !

  • Comment removed

  • I really don't agree with this at all. It makes the assumption that the only way one can call themselves atheist is if they have a scientific degree. I have a degree in Ancient History, but I say I'm more or less atheist. I don't think I should automatically be discounted. Coming up with a reason why the big bang makes more sense than Genesis does not take a degree. If you ponder it for more than 30 seconds it starts to become rather clear why one is spectacularly stupid and the other isn't.

  • @OCPios62 Except for that fact that the Big Bang theory does have quite a few very large holes in it that scientists do actually acknowledge. The fact is that a lot of people believe wholeheartedly in the Big Bang theory because their science teachers or professors told them that it happened without actually understanding the concept behind it. Sound familiar? Like people who put their faith in God because of the Bible/ pastors/ parents?

  • @JustSTFUAbby That actually doesn't have much of anything to do with what I said. He's claiming that the only legitimate way to call yourself atheist is to have essentially gotten a scientific degree; anyone else has no right to identify as atheist. To address your comment, of course there are holes and of course we shouldn't buy into something wholeheartedly. But the fact remains that science has done more in the way of explaining things than religion ever has.

  • @OCPios62 But the fact is that that's really not true at all. Religion explains things much more thoroughly and completely than science ever will be able to. Science doesn't EXPLAIN anything, it simply describes it as accurately as possible at any given time. And how can someone without knowledge of science and the big bang legitimately claim that they are an atheist without being a hypocrite for condemning religious people for their blind faith?

  • @JustSTFUAbby So, by your logic, no one should be allowed to call themselves Christian unless they have a degree is theology. Someone can be scientifically inclined and curious without having to have a degree and still call themselves atheist. Science explains plenty (take an Earth science class); religion gives you a blanket answer you're simply supposed to take and not question. Science at least questions itself for the purpose of reaching a fuller, better, and above all more correct answer.

  • @JustSTFUAbby What?! Science can EXPLAIN EVERYTHING!! Faith did not land on the moon. Faith did not make the smallpox vaccine, Faith did not build you car. The Big Bang and the proof of God (or in this case Genesis) are theories and can only be proven with one thing. Science. Science can prove religion. Religion cannot prove science. Know what I mean?

  • @OCPios62 Nobody cares what you think, loser.

  • No, I'm too smart to be a christian.

  • Explain to me, what is god, what do they look like, and how does anyone know that it ever exiisted?

What? You can't tell me, yet you put your entire faith and hope into it?

Okay, yeah you're right WE'RE the stupid ones for not accepting the evidence for evolution, and instead believing in an invisible magic man in the sky.

  • @LickMyComment Believing in god doesn't make you stupid. A lot of intelligent people believe in a god. No one is perfect, just because they don't agree with you, or grew up in a different situation, doesn't mean they're completely worthless and stupid.

  • @AdamOKC

I agree, infact i know many smart, pleasant, christians. And just because i don't believe in a giant invisible man, it DEFINITELY does not make me stupid either.

  • Wow. That was so wrong and offensive on so many levels.

  • Go to any average "Christian's" house and ask them to explain why/how Genesis is more realistic than the Big Bang.... They're too stupid to be Christian, which is very ironic.

  • @12mbrown1 oh please, the very fact that there really was a "big bang" after all is a major and important knowledge for both the jews and the christians. before the big bang theory emerged, the dominant theory (according to science(cosmology) was the "steady state" theory, which implied that the universe is eternal. but it seems that the universe does have a beginning, a "moment of creation".

anyway, perhaps the book of genesis has symbolic and metaphoric meaning.

  • @12mbrown1 Lol that's a lie. All Christians are very committed to learning the word of God.

  • typical religious rant full of nonsense and claims that cant be backed up as well as a smattering of insults and threats of damnation.

faith is personal anything else is a corruption of that usually aimed at controlling others.

  • This just shamed me into researching the Big Bang theory

  • How do microwaves work? I say its demons and fucking magic. Let's not play any games here, if I come over to your house right now, and ask you to explain why believing in radiation is more rational than magic, you wouldn't be able to stutter out a semblance of an answer.

    What fucking stupid logic.

  • this guy needs to get laid badly

  • I share John Safran's sentiments. As an atheist, I'm ashamed of some of my peers. Sometimes, I get the distinct impression that most of them are just pseudo-intellectuals who are only into atheism because they see it as the "hip" and "trendy" thing to do. If suddenly some religion were "hip" and "trendy" and seen as a way to make you seem intelligent and profound, I wouldn't be surprised if they hopped aboard that band wagon.

  • @Idoloish You mean the Church of the FSM? I'm apart of it. But not because I'm an atheist, or because it's "hip and trendy". I like their scripture (which I haven't read yet, and am not completely sure how to read it or if it's even there lol.)

    rAmen

  • I don't know how stupid I am but I do know one thing for sure: I am not stupid enough to believe fables written by a bunch of goat and sheep herders thousands of years ago.

  • Dear Atheists.

You ASSUME I think God is some bearded man in the sky.

You ASSUME I think he'll give me things if I ask.

You ASSUME I believe that he created the world by snapping his fingers.

You ASSUME I don't believe in Gay marriage.

... You ASSUME I'm weak and of low intelligence.

You say I'm some nut with an imaginary friend.

And you say religious people discriminate against you?

  • @ChaingunCassidy fuck off

  • @ChaingunCassidy Depends on the context, but the most of the things you've said are false in my case and religious people have never discriminated me IRL. You assume that I assume those things.

But why would god not give me all I want and why god would create me to who I am, an atheist? If god is not responsible for evil who is? Why god allows evil to exist? What created god?

  • @ChaingunCassidy Religious people are 80% of the USA. They try to force their views on everyone else have way too much political influence despite separation of church and state, tell everyone they're going to hell unless you believe what they believe. Your religion teaches intolerance and hate of gay people and has caused wars and genocide in the name of your god. The Crusades, The Salem Witch Trial, The Spanish Inquisitions, genocide of the Native Americans. And you think you're persecuted?LOL

  • @devilledevil98

indians were savages who fought and ate each other before christians came (black feet), gay people are crazy, the crusades were a response to islamic terror in byzantine and the salem witch trial is similar to the communist purges of lenin.

  • @chuddycuddles You fucking idiot. Indians were not savages and not all were cannibals. At least they were peaceful and didn't conquer and enslave other countries. You're the one who's crazy believing in fairy tales, not gay people. The Christians are terrorists just like Muslims. You can't point fingers and there is absolutely no justification for the burnings and torture. Fucking idiot. Fuck you and fuck your god.

  • @devilledevil98 .

''At least they[native americans] were peaceful and didn't conquer and enslave other countries.''

they weren't technologically advanced enough and too disorganized to enslave 'other countries'. By disorganized, I mean there were many many tribes, and each were a people of their own [no sweeping national identity to unite a force large enuff to enslave other countries]

But taking captives was common among the tribes, and many tribes practiced torture on them as routine

  • @devilledevil98 'Savages' is perhaps not completely fair, but they certainly didn't sip tea with their pinkies out. 'Primitive' due to lack of technology is more accurate.

if the guy yer talkin to is saying it 'helped' or was good for the Native Americans when the Christians came, just ask him to go ask one in person.

    if he can find one

  • @PorkFrog You're a racist.

  • @devilledevil98 what's a racist? is it someone that recognizes cultural differences? because then I'm definitely one.

They were some very hard people shaped by an unforgiving environment. Pity was more often than not considered a sign of weakness. As for torturing captives, that is common knowledge

one very old picture I saw once showed a Sioux wrapped in a blanket against the cold, beside a captive, naked and 'staked out'

never forgot the picture, but I always wondered, who the fuck took it?

  • @ChaingunCassidy learn english

  • HA i made it to page 4!!

  • Comment removed

  • how did god appear? tell me :D give me an explication how did GOD appear :3

  • Well said John Safran!!!

  • "It has become almost a cliche to remark that nobody boasts of ignorance of literature, but it is socially acceptable to boast ignorance of science and proudly claim incompetence in mathematics." - Richard Dawkins.

You must realise that Atheism has been ingrained in some people from childhood, because their parents are also Atheist. And for those Atheist people with religious parents, they had a mind to "think outside of the box".

  • But I'm not student in Humanities... and I don't snigger at Christians... don't need a degree in science to be an Atheist.... I have an appreciation for the world that has not been created by God, or some supernatural entity. The reason behind the world existence is far to complex to comprehend, or explain, scientist or not. So the easy answer to life, for others is "God".

I ask you this, does a Muslim have to be an Islamic scholar or have a degree in Islamic studies to be a Muslim? T.B.C

  • I think students with arts degree understand the basic princips of scientific methods. Thet's why they just trust sciense at all. Don't worry, be happy))))

  • @nazinu

    >princips

    >Thet's

    >sciense

  • @RasecVonWizzlbang

    >prinsiples?

    >that's?

    >sceince?

    fuk yu

  • Spend more time thinking about things that matter and less time patting yourself on the back for not believing in something imaginary. I don't believe that Skeletor rules the dark side of the moon, do I get a cookie? Seriously, it's obnoxious. I file atheism alongside several other divisive -isms, and think it's just as beneficial for society.

  • Hah... Im atheist and alls i got to say... is Smoke Weed.

  • First of all DipShit due to the advancements in string theory, the universe may actually have always existed therefore rendering your Trogloditic theory of the big bang... Superfluous. You sir are a pompous, arrogant, prick. Who the fuck made you pope of Atheism it just boggles me the shit that resides in peoples head, you sir ARE A DOUCHE BAG.

  • @DrSatanAIDS I don't think he's an Atheist at all. I have a feeling he is Jewish, either that or a fence sitter...

  • To require non magical (magic = breaking the laws of the physical world) explanation for the ones observations isn't stupid.

To require that everyone who try to find the explanations that don't require magical omnipotent being, should know everything that science (method trying to find real explanations to natural phenomenon or observations) has explained thus far -> stupid requirement.

There's just too much to know in this world. But saying "magic did it" doesn't explain anything.

  • Most of the self-proclaimed "atheists" on Youtube are too stupid to be atheists -- they don't even know the definition of the word, and are actually agnostics.

  • @1GodOnlyOne I'm sure you've been told this before yet are to arrogant to accept it

    agnosticism/gnosticism deal with knowledge

    atheism/theism deal with belief

The definition of agnosticism(without knowledge) is someone who doesn't profess absolute knowledge of the existence/non existence of god(s)

theism theos(GOD) belief in the existence of god(s)

Atheism atheos(without/not god) is without/not theism

an agnostic can not know & believe or disbelieve IE agnostic theist/atheist

  • @1GodOnlyOne YOU clearly don't understand the definition if you use the terms seperately. You can be an Agnostic Atheist, a Gnostic Atheist, a Gnostic Theist and a Gnostic Atheist. You also forgot about Strong and weak Atheism which are used to determine whether an Athiest rejects the claims of Theism or positively asserts there is no God/gods. As robvlob correctly pointed out Agnostosism deals with the belief that knowledge about God is obtainable, whilst Atheism deals with the belief itself.

  • I'm an athiest, but this guys a fucking nerd.

  • You said at the end...go to hell.....I was there.....theyyyyyy are lookingggggggg

    forrrrrrrr youuuuu.

  • Do you need special insight or knowledge to not believe in faeries?

  • @figureoflight Awesome response.... I was thinking almost the same :P

  • @figureoflight u mad bro?

  • I think this is a set or somethin

  • I'm actually on page 4, Mark.

  • I hate to say this but atheism isn't about being able to debate, it isn't about having a lot of degrees or being a professor in biology. There are many people who simply hear the stories and don't believe them. THIS IS ALSO ATHEISM

  • @sum1otosh1

that is actually all there is to atheism

    a- your effing fairy tale-ism

  • @realbojay thatmade me chuckle

  • @sum1otosh1 You are right, atheism is just a disbelief. But atheists are usually higher educated, it's just a notable fact. It's also a notable fact that most creationists have no clue what they are talking about, hence the 'we dont come from monkeys' argument.

  • This guy is an atheist.

He just doesn't like people that wear the label "atheist" as they wear their Che Guevara shirt; in a shallow manner, devoid of any meaning.

  • "You're too stupid to be an atheist... try theism"

    -John Safran

  • My God, what has Charles Darwin created?

  • if there is GOD.. he made me an athiest.. who are we to question his judgement.. lol

  • @trfdr003 you made your self an atheist it was your choice not GOD

  • @ChelseaFC4life24 hey, my religion taught me that GOD knows everything, then why will he create something that wont obey him? its like asking a CHELSEA hater to play for CHELSEA..

  • @trfdr003 no its not , because a chelsea hater would play and then probably intentionally make the team lose , and i don't know why he created us, ask him on the day of judgement

  • @ChelseaFC4life24 oh i did not realize there would be a Q n A session on the day of judgement, but if there is ill surely ask him. Hope to see you there! :)

  • I educated myself on both theism and atheism...that includes all the possibilities of why we are here. So let me ask you something, who are you to say that anyone watching your video that is an atheist, doesnt know anything about the big bang? Until next time, die and see nothing happens

  • @vivalakakarot This guy's just being facetious man.

  • this goes out to everybody who puts atheist as a religion on Facebook

  • Everybody is entitled to G-D! Athiests are poor, primitive G-Dless creatures that worship the false Religion of Science,Evilution and BigBang.I invite them,to worship the word, that came downto Earth, became Flesh,in the Manly Crotch, Penus(the)Christus[=Anointed(through the BulboUrethral GlanDs)] and RESURRECTS in the expectance of devout worship, and blesses with SACRED ORGASM, and spends the MILKEY RIVER OF LIFE (well, unless he suffers from resurrectile Dysfunction).I worship my word w/PASSION!

  • Everybody is entitled to G-D! • You don't need no be an expert in evolution or the big band theory to know the genesis hypothesis is ludicrous. Most people with a brain have instinctive doubts about their god ,simply by the fact alternative gods are worshiped, All of which supporrted by the same amount of evidence, none.

  • I'm definitely guilty of this in a lot of ways. I don't like speaking in person about atheism because I feel like I don't have good arguments other than "your religion is ridiculous and here's why"

  • emerickscott

You don't need to provide good arguments...they do.

In 5 years of debating theists on Youtube, I haven't encountered one who has provided a reasonable argument supporting their belief, nor the slightest bit of evidence to support their claims that their ghost-god is real.

  • @emerickscott Its isn't about buying something else its just about not buying what their selling. There is no dogma of atheism that requires you to believe in a cause for existence earth/universe/life just not believing in supernatural entity(ies).

  • Safran is a tv personality no more no less.

  • So, in other words, because I don't understand the depths of science, I'm not smart enough to be an atheist?

Not sure if Safran is trolling or just retarded himself. You don't need to know shit to not believe in something, and one doesn't have to be a scientist to logically destroy any argument a Christian brings forth to support their side of the argument.

I'm an arts student, and an English major to boot. Come at me, bro.

  • @Jinxerz010792

all you need to be an atheist is the free will that god gave you to deny your creator

    thats all you need

  • Supersoni13

To be an atheist, all you need is a brain, something terribly lacking in Christiandumb! Then, just wait for a Christian to come along and provide evidence that his ghost-god is real! After you realize that no evidence for any such god exists, congrats, you're an atheist!

Wear your badge well, and proudly, as you're a thinking human being who gives a damn that what you believe is true.

  • How can we have free will if said Creator has a plan?

    NEXT.

  • @Jinxerz010792

Free will and plan are 2 different things, If you had a son and he was on the wrong path you would set up a plan to get in on the right path. But we are not God (knowing all the choices we will every make) so our plan won't be perfect.

  • You realize you just contradicted yourself, right?

If God knows all the choices we'll make before we make them, and those choices fit into his plan for the universe, then that means he made those choices for us. Ergo, by that reasoning, Free Will can't exist if there is an omnipotent, omniscient creator.

Furthermore, if God has a plan, then why is it so full of plotholes? Why send so many innocents to hell who's only crime was not knowing that the bible existed?

  • @Jinxerz010792

Thats not true, just because he knows what we will decide dosent mean he made the choice for us that is not contradicting its easy to understand the question is why put us here if he already know we will chose him? everybody will have a chance to know God he wont send you to hell you ignoring his way out of hell sends you to hell

  • Um... yes it does? If you accept that he's Omnipotent, and Omniscient, and our creator, that means he 1. Has all the power to make us into whatever he wants us to be, 2. Knows everything we'll do before we're born, and 3. Means he created us knowing we'd do exactly what we'd do. That means he chose for us when he made us.

Ergo, if your God is all of the above things, then I'm an Atheist because he wants me to be, and I'll go to hell because he wants me to. That doesn't sound very merciful.

  • @Jinxerz010792

Again him knowing what you will do does not mean he chose for you you choose to deny him and he gave you what you wanted

  • You're not getting the point.

He knew what I'd do before he made me. Ergo, he wanted me to be what I am. If he didn't want that, then he wouldn't have made me the way I was. It does not logically follow that I can be held at fault because he made me knowing the whole time, even before I was conceived, that I would never accept him. If he made me knowing that, then it was him who was to blame, and not me, because he supposedly holds the power to intervene and change me, but doesn't do so.

  • He had all the opportunity a God could possibly have to make me grow up believing the Bible, like he has with so many other people. And yet, he didn't. When he supposedly molded my soul, or whatever it is you Christians believe he does to give people life and purpose, it was in HIS PLAN for me to be an atheist. Otherwise he wouldn't have made me, knowing I would be one, and knowing I would not be convinced by conjecture and shabby arguments.

    Do you understand now?

  • This is so motherfucking awesome and so motherfucking true. Most people can't rationalize around such philosophy.

  • dude need a girlfriend.

  • Wow, this guy is a FUCKING DICK.

  • "until next time go o hell" rofl xD

  • ppl are divided only into two group....nice ppl or just being an asshole ppl...

  • Thank you. I am so sick and tired of people being so damn arrogant.

  • I would like to thank George Washington for fighting for our freedom against King James Middle Eastern Abrahamic Spaghetti Monster which is not the word of God. Sincerely one Free Secular Nation above all Religious theocracy, as a free American I refuse to be forced to bow to a dead Middle Eastern man who has been elected to be my New God and who I would not trust my money with which is based on blind faith for a fool.

  • You should say that this is a reference to Zamyatin's We, you'd look really cool.

  • my shirt says:

IN THE BEGINNING MAN CREATED GOD

and i got 1 that says:

SCIENCE WILL FLY YOU TO THE MOON

RELIGION WILL FLY YOU INTO A BUILDING

  • Huh? I sure would know why the big bang theory is more rational, however I don't exactly swear that it's the absolute truth. It's rational (knowing how the science process works) to take the evidences in the world and use them to come to the most likely conclusion. It's flexible, which is why it's dumb to swear by rhetoric answers in an ancient book.

  • There's no stupid Atheist.lol

  • I have a T-shirt that says:

god = square root of -1

Funny how I get one of two reactions:

    1. "I like your shirt!"

    2. "What does that mean?”

  • @ndrthrdr1 lol, where did you get it? :)

  • @frackcha zazzle dot com / atheist + gifts ? pg = 10

    (Take out the spaces.)

  • @ndrthrdr1 The square root of negative one is a perfectly valid mathematical construct.

Unfortunately the variables 'G*O*D' do not equal the square root of negative 1, that is, i the imaginary number does not equal g*o*d, since these variables have been undefined.

    Do you study mathematics?

  • @jjmcreal1 I didn't say G*O*D, I said "god", used here as an alphanumeric variable. It's a programming statement. Oh, never mind.

  • @ndrthrdr1 The muliplicative is implied if you are using standard mathematical notation.

But I still don't understand, even if we take 'god' as a single variable (which ought to be defined on the shirt). Is the intent of the shirt to say, since sqrt(-1) CAN equal imaginary number i, that variable 'god' = imaginary number i?

    The mathematics is questionable

  • @jjmcreal1 No, it's an assignment statement, not an equation. It instructs the computer to put i into the memory space designated as "god".
